Naarm/Melbourne’s Lily Dalton caught my ear with an impressive series of mixes for @city-bleus and @chomleychomley among others, and I’m so glad to welcome her as she prepares to launch her upcoming label @irregularforms. Lily’s mix is infectious and brilliantly paced, all while highlighting a solid dose of Australian music, and it’s clear she’ll soon enough be bringing entire crowds to their knees. This one sounds like a rush to the front, a shared inhale, a collective dream of dancing beneath a florescent sky.

A nomadic spirit tracing her ancestry in the frozen Arctic and mountains of Translyvlania,  Claire is one of the most globe-trotting artists Montreal's electronic scene has to offer. In fact, she just recently concluded a wide-ranging summer tour schedule that included musical jaunts in Switzerland, Germany, British Columbia, and the Honduran Bay Islands. From Piknic Electronik to the Techno Parade, and from MUTEK to Club Der Visionaere, Claire’s music is shaking up dancefloors all over the world. 

With several EPs on vinyl and has released on labels Conceptual, Monoclap, Archipel and more. A bit of a gear junkie, Claire has a small but mighty arsenal of synthesizers, samplers, sequencers, and drum machines. Something just flows when those machines come alive and for 2022, she is shifting her focus to live performance. She's also been hard at work preparing to launch her own label, Planète Secrète. Our next guest After 15 years as a DJ and producer, we can safely say that DOC has traveled through most styles and genres. From hard techno free parties in Barcelona in the ‘10s to disco events in London in the ‘20s, DOC has developed a broad music taste and vinyl collection during his artistic journey.

Some years ago, he landed on a musical planet inhabited by all things deep. DOC has a genre-agnostic approach to his music selection. If it is psychedelic, ritualistic, and hypnotic, it fits. He picks from ambient, techno, breaks, house, dnb, dub, and downtempo to create a trip of his own, aiming at providing both a body and mind experience.

In his monthly podcast, Selene Series, DOC explores the different shapes that mental and psychedelic electronic music can take. Selene Series is a podcast that has been running for 3 years and is released each full moon.
