Kerry Simester, aka DJ KERRY, began her musical beginnings with the piano at the tender age of 8.  By the age of 12, Kerry was making her own mix tapes through the influences of Michael Jackson, SOS Band, & Mtume to name a few.  Her musical taste has since then expanded over the years and enjoys everything from R&B classics, Disco, Nu-Disco, to House and everything in-between.  Many of her DJ influences come from DJs such as Louie Vega, Marques Wyatt, Joe Claussell, DJ Harvey, Greg Wilson and David Mancuso to name a few.

For the past 14 years, DJ Kerry has made a name for herself in the underground scene of Los Angeles by throwing successful parties, such as Nitty Gritty, Rice & Beats, Hang Together and most recently, The Basement.  

DJ Kerry continues to share her passion for music and plays regularly throughout Los Angeles.

The mix is a combination of some old 90s tracks I've been obsessed with recently and some new stuff that I think borrows sound from that time. I specifically made this with my brother in mind; to honour the times we had as kids playing outside on the farm in Saskatchewan, with our wild imaginations creating pretend lands and forts in the forest with all the freedom we had to explore in such a small town. Nostalgia and curiosity run deep in this one.

A community leader, co-founder of Yohomo.ca and DJ for over two decades, the eclectic sounds and music collection of Phillippe (@djphillippe) know no bounds. Sharing his sounds and love for bringing queer people together on the dancefloor, Phillippe has played on massive stages with the likes of Stromae, Rina Sawayama, Robyn, and David Morales, and has djed supporting slots for the likes of Polo & Pan, Horse Meat Disco, The Carry Nation, Folamour, and Jellybean Benitez. A Toronto local and culture creator, he has shared his joyful vocal house energy all over North America, from Montreal, Miami, Chicago, New York and Mexico City.
