My style is chilled alternative soul/r&b and hip hop with a synth melodic vibe to it. I love music... and making music that is real. If it comes from the heart, then it is REAL. There will be days when you just cannot create, but those days in which the creativity flows it’s just an awesome feeling, a feeling that music can only bring.

The story behind the song:
Shawn's dad, an 81-year old veteran wrote the lyrics to this song after seeing some of the most horrific images imaginable from Bucha. Shawn took this heartfelt outpouring of grief and transformed it into this musical message of love to the people of Ukraine.
Silke added the zither part on the very same instrument that her grandad, a German soldier who survived Stalingrad, gave to her as a little child, reminding her to love all humans, always. Now the instrument has finally served its purpose - it is ringing out for peace!
