welcome to the Don’t Be Afraid Podcast, my name is Andrew. Thank you for listening. I've been looking for a number of examples of brave courageous men of honor and duty to tell you about. I think I may be stuck on military history for a little while because there's so many awesome examples. War find and destroys these great people and it’s terrible. The toughest get destroyed so we lose great men. People are not interchangeable. There’s a lot of messaging today that anyone can do anything and anyone is qualified to do anything. We know that's just not true. I recently watched the documentary on Eugene B Sledge an amazing man who I will be absolutely highlighting in the near future. I did some reading on John Basilone another amazing man cut down in service to those men who send our guys to war. Form perimeters, establish states and lay down their lives protecting them.

Today we delve into a nautical mystery.  One that includes submarines, the Cold War, Hollywood moguls and more.  This is the tale called by the CIA Gennifer but it is also known as project Azorian. 
The Cold War was full of subterfuge, disinfo, spying and miraculous national efforts. This may be the greatest example of clandestine Cold War operations known to the public.
