Jungle Kitchen, the innovative experimental downtempo project of Baptiste Sejourne and Pablo Vicencio, has been elegantly redefined by a select group of remixers in this diverse yet cohesive collection of music. The vocals of Nina Nassif are a common thread through the project which journeys through a wide range of energy and emotion. The remixers come from a wide range of backgrounds and find themselves living in creative vortexes from South and Central America, Asia and somewhere in between. The album is an invitation into a dreamy yet rhythmically intricate exploration of sound with influences from around the world which transcend any particular culture or heritage.

In pan-Indian traditions, a guru is more than a teacher: traditionally, the guru is a reverential figure to the disciple (or shisya in Sanskrit, literally seeker [of knowledge or truth]) or student, with the guru serving as a "counselor, who helps mold values, shares experiential knowledge as much as literal knowledge, an exemplar in life, an inspirational source and who helps in the spiritual evolution"

with all respect of the energie that this word have and carry, i named this song this way cause feeling this new light melodies coming from or passing trough me, also remember me how im learning more and more from spiritual guides and my childrens, friends and people that i just cross in life.

i like Gurus a specially when they have a lot sense of humor and are loving beings, Social and Deep Connected.

One day long ago a Friend of mine after a comment that i made about one Guru, She said to me:
"i´am my own Guru"...and we laugh, and she was serious about it but at the same time we laugh...well she was also a guru for me...hahahahaha.

I learn from her to be in my way, to be full consecuent with my believes and how i want to experience life.
same time being respectfully and open to another ways that people choose to live in many cases very diferent than mine.
all this teaching just coming from within, inside , from our connection just like this, like this melodie of this song; easy...flowing ...coming and going...

Like a breeze that comes, caress gentle your face, make you feel good for a moment and then is gone.

This is a tribute to Maestra Olivia, the voice of the Shipibo. I felt touched by the story and how so many lives come through this earth with some mission and sometimes pass thru a lot of hard paths to reach an ultimate truth. This is an externalization of the inner emotions going thru many of us for this incident.
If they wanted to silence her they just made her louder, if they tried to make her disappear they transformed her into a solid tree.

Coalescence is a journey into the collaborative efforts of friends from around the world. This EP was born in Bali from producers J.Pool and Aleceo who met there and found an affinity with sound medicine man and Sacred World Music producer Kailash Kokopelli. These two up and coming talented producers incorporated the magical sound tapestries of Hernan Suarez, Alunawachuma, Tatyana Kalmykova, and Kama Lila Sol. This rich offering is the fruit of a collaborative effort of all of these musicians bringing their own essence into the project. It is a puzzle which came together with each piece fitting perfectly with the other to create a journey into the heart and grooves to move the body into ecstasy. Coalescence is a testament of coming together to compliment each other as a unity - a body of music which thrives on the strengths of each independent artist complimenting the other. It is perfectly in alignment with the intentions of the label Resueño - to come together to create something special which alone would be impossible.
