Intricate Records is ready to present the long-awaited sequel of the label’s signature compilations. The second issue of «Intricate Sessions» will be released in summer 2014. In accordance with the last year’s tradition, two permanent residents and label co-founders, PROFF and Vadim Soloviev are responsible for compiling and mixing of Volume Two. The main release will be introduced by two samplers. The first sampler will be put together by Vadim Soloviev. Three tracks from this sampler are already confirmed to appear on Vadim’s mix later on, these are «Make Me Believe» by Artego, «Shout!» by Sebastian Weikum and«Point Of View» by V I F.

The track with a screaming title «Shout!» by Sebastian Weikum immediately catches the eye. This original production depicts the vivid elements and signature sound on this Poland-based musician: general liveliness and contagion of the vocal samples. Another hero of the sampler is Artego — a musician, sound-producer and deejay from the city of Yekaterinburg with over ten years scene experience, participant of the project Dancekraft and former co-founder of the pop-band Fontano. His versatile experience can be traced also on his production «Make Me Believe» – it is quite easy-received, dancefloor-friendly and is heard in one breath. Finally, the third participant of the sampler 
— Konstantin Astafiev from Cherkassy, known on the scene under his creative alias V I F, expressed his own opinion with the help of his track «Point Of View». Holding a degree in sound engineering, he knows how to make music attractive for the listener. That is why his work corresponds with the general concept of the entire release very well: feel the beginning of a sunny and hot summer.

In late August 2013 Intricate Cuts will be presenting the newest addition to their catalog, «Bad Bee» by August Rush. The single will include the original version of the track and a remix by Deep Lark.

All you have to do... is listen», — the lead character of «August Rush» film was telling us. At the heart of the plot there is a touching story of musician and how music is uniting people. Probably, this was the reason why Arkhangelsk-based producers Alexander Shelchkov and Alexey Maltsev decided to name their duo “August Rush”. Their creative works are always full of freshness, lightness and easiness, as well as sincere emotions, just the like original movie. It seems like the guys decided to follow those testaments in full, in every aspect. Newest releases by August Rush are seen on various labels on a regular basis, their tracks and remixes catch the attention of A-league club players including Max Graham and Eximinds, some of their works have already climbed up into Beatport’s Top-100 in «Progressive» and «Nu-Disco» categories. Alexander and Alexey run their own «August All The Time Show» on Pure.FM Radio and currently are on a friendly footing with Answer42 – a collaboration track is hopefully soon to be announced and presented to the fans. Having already collaborated with Estiva on the brilliant 'Reach For The Sky' on Enhanced Recordings this year, Justin Oh now returns onto the Colorize stage with his new Progressive House EP - 'Jejudo / Pryizzapoppa'. With both tracks having already appeared on the recent 'Colorize - Volume 01' compilation, it's clear to see that this is one talented producer.

'Jejudo' is the epitome of the true Prog House sound. As playful melodies caress this upbeat bassline, we hear warm, echoing vocal samples, as if heralding the summer sun.

'Pryizzapoppa' makes for a more energetic B side as Justin ups the tempo and speeds up the bassline. Whilst still remaining melodic at the core, this track will appeal to any fan of progressive.

It's 10 stars for this gifted Korean producer.

It’s always with great excitement when we are able to bring anything back from one of the best in the business as we today have a fantastic original coming from the one and only Gabor Kaszas aka East Cafe. Gabor who has helped us out by pushing our label forward as he’s been taking part in our regular PHW label, now join us on our Elements division as well. To complement the original, you will have 3 epic names and productions in form of Biologik, Hector Sawiak and none other than Serbian ace Jelly For The Babies.

The original from Gabor is a superb production as always, where he brings on his powerful sound design as this pad and percussion laden has a mystic and driving feel, all filled up with pounding bass chords and overall smooth structure, we totally love it.

Toronto, Canada based progressive profile Biologik brings his touch to the release as we are stunned to bring him on to the label as well. He’s built a superb interpretation for us with melodies layered up together with well selected percussion to build a great production for us and we are truly happy to have him among us as well as he is one of the leading names in the business, it’s no wonder why.

The 2nd remix comes from one that we have hunted for a while to get on our roster, as we are big fans of the deep and dark vibes coming from the great Argentine based producer, Hector Sawiak. Being a great influence on the scene over the years he now comes to our place as well and the result is nothing less than stunning. With his deep and pounding sound structures, he has built some massive groove in to the track here. That, together with some effective melodious work in the breakdown gives us a massive take here that we are proud to have on our new label, amazing production. 

Last out is someone that we easily could call “the man of the moment” as we are proud to bring back the creative mind behind the alias of Jelly For The Babies, Marijan Raskovic. With a string of superb production being released on all major labels in the business, we are proud to be able to have him back on remix duty once again as he has built something phenomenal for us here. With a massive bass line built, evolving pads and crisp effects, this is just another masterpiece coming up from the Serbian producer and yet another one that will showcase he is a leading name in the business.

On the 12th of July 2014, Intricate Records will hold a special showcase at the annual GES Festival. The large event is dedicated to electronic music, extreme and adventure sports — the showcase by Intricate Records boasts an impressive team of Cosmonaut, Envotion, Fon.Leman, Poison Pro and PROFF.

The annual festival of electronic music and extreme sports «GES» was established in 2007 and will unite the fans of active lifestyle and club music already for the 8th time in 2014 on the territory of Samara region in Russia. The sand of Kopylovo, the massive chain of Zhigulevskie mountains and, of course, the river Volga create a favourable soil not jut for beach dancing but also for a wide variety of adventure outdoor activities. Nowadays GES festival takes place close to the wickets of Zhigulevskaya hydroelectric power station, near the picturesque water storage reserve — for its large size it is popularly called «Zhigulevskoe sea». The event is held with the general support of Togliatti city district Administration and Department of Tourism of Samara region, it puts together the appearance of over 20 electronic dance music live acts and DJs from all around the world with over 20 different extreme sports activities. For the first time in the history of GES Festival, Intricate Records will present a solid label showcase at Ultraviolet dancefloor — on the 12th of July 2014 the Dutch project Envotion, the most prolific resident artist Fon.Leman plus the DJs Cosmonaut, Poison Pro and PROFF will headline the night and display the diverse sides of the modern electronic sound as promoted by the Russian Progressive label.

Fon.Leman prepares official two-parts compilation, as a part of Intricate Records label showcase on GES Festival 2014. Its tracklist fully provides the title of Alex Fon.Leman as the most prolific label resident. Half of the material is provided by himself. The compilation will be available in stores Beatport and iTunes, as well as on CDs in Russia

A friendship is one thing, but continuous development is vitally important. This is why the fellows decided not to take a break at the level of current achievements and grounded their own record label. «By the times someone discovers the points of coincidence with the colleagues not only in terms of business, but also creative sphere – that is always a positive experience! – Unification of musical efforts in frames of one label is our next and by no means unimportant step in creative self-fulfillment».

It is important to mention that the quad is not going to limit the newborn imprint’s catalog only with own productions. Intricate Records is also a promising platform for implementation of creative aspiration of other talented producers who feel themselves on the same wave quite often.

«Right at the moment there is no single record label which coincides with my musical taste and general conception, which I would like to see being embodied. Starting a new imprint with the fellow guys, I’m looking forward to the having the possibility of fulfilling myself as an A&R-manager and making the current musical world at least a little bit better. We are going to collaborate with our friends and associates from around the world. I certainly believe, if such projects are held with well-intentioned mood and built on relations of friendship, there are certain chances to make something special and terminative».
