Paduan was joined by special guest Eight Fold Way on this month's outing. Eight Fold Way slowly eased us into the day with sublime ambient tracks, Paduan for the second 60 minutes moving towards more experimental selections.

We can barely contain ourselves as we finally reveal this truly very special chapter of our Podcast Series to you today, conjured up by none other than our very dear friend and the mastermind visionary behind our visual identity, Marco Maldarella 🌸

Marco is a multimedia artist and sound-maker living and working in Bologna. When we were just starting to develop Introspective Electronics, it made sense to reach out to him and see if we could together materialise the vision we had for this new platform. Little did we know that Marco’s contribution would be so symbiotic with the music and become such a fundamental part of who we are now. And we are so grateful it turned out this way 💛 

Apart from his work with visual media, Marco is a DJ and one half of the experimental electronic duo MARMO with Christian Duka. We were lucky to be able to release a powerful podcast by the pair last year which has since been remodeled into an LP soon out via the London-based Utter. Look out for this one!

This mesmerising one hour journey seems to take its roots in the haze of days long past, a fragile trembling presence slowly emerging from the soils to meet the sun and mankind. Then ~ in patient harmony its stems and branches grow through time and finally take shape as indigenous music with diverse brushstrokes of modernity weaved in. A seamless flow of emotions rushing from and through and into is the anchor of this mystery-soaked pilgrimage ✨ 🌚🌝✨

After two years of inactivity in Zapadores, Josephine Soundscapes proposed a trip in her musical and affective memory, the set was complemented by a live visual show performed together with her partner in a_mal_gam_a, Diskoan (@diskoan), in which predatory nature was the protagonist. -

Josephine’ Soundscapes (@machines-desirantes) is Jose Salas, an audiovisual creator, art director and active promoter of Madrid alternative culture. As a Dj, he always works with a mixture of investigation of the past and a strong commitment to the present. He's part of a_mal_gam_a (@a_mal_gam_a) and CALMA (@calmamadrid) collectives, both working in Spain electronic underground scene. He also hosts a bimonthly radio program on Radio Relativa (@radio-relativa) called "Campos de Marte" (http://camposdemarte.net/), focused on experimentation in music.

Jacob Long has been crafting Earthen Sea material since the early 2000s. He gradually graduated from limited-edition cassettes to releases on Ital's Lover's Rock and Nicolas Jaar's Other People imprints, before linking up with the evergreen label Kranky in 2017. His third album for Kranky, Ghost Poems, comes out next week. We celebrate with an hour of music built as spring emerges around him in Brooklyn, full of contrasts between light and decay.
