Semi generative ambient piece created on my Modular System.

Rings and Mangrove are the main melody voices. Plaits provides the chord drone in the background. Picovoice is providing the higher melody that appears every now and then.

Everything is sequenced from Mutable Instruments Marbles and Korg SQ1.

Modulation provided by Intellijel Quadra and Abstract Data Octocontroller.

Tracked to DAW in one take. Reverb, eq and compression added in DAW.

Inspired by music concrete/insomnia/thought loops, this is music that intentionally goes nowhere. 

'Rapt' is the product of a search for mental headspace and the desire for a world to get lost in.
