Meraki is based on our fourth open demo submissions, where over 150 community producers were invited to submit one track each.

These submissions were compiled in an anonymous playlist and voted for collectively.

The album title and artwork were also suggested and democratically chosen by the Aedi community.

Fulusoma is a Hybrid DJ / Live Performance by O-Ma x Bun Saito.
Performing regularly in Vent Tokyo and outdoor festivals throughout Japan.
The Tokyo based duo have performed alongside artists such as Claudio PRC, Acronym, and DJ Nobu.

- Genome (Visual Artist)
Since the early 2000s, when Japan's VJ scene was in its infancy, he has been active as a video director mainly in Tokyo's underground music and art scene.

Description
 The title of the work, NEOYOROZU, is a video work created based on a LIVE session held during the art installation of the same name at BnA_Wall, an art hotel in Tokyo in 2023. This work was inspired by a piece conceived by Mizuki Toyama, designer of the Japanese fashion brand AVA, and also expresses a chain of ideas: a work of art born from a work of art.

About NEOYOROZU 作品タイトルであるNEOYOROZUとは、2023年、東京のアートホテルであるBnA_Wallにて、同名のアートインスタレーション開催中に行われたLIVEセッションを基に創作された、映像作品です。 また本作は、日本のファッションブランドAVAのデザイナーである遠山瑞紀の発案の作品にインスピレーションを受けており、作品から生まれた作品というアイデアの連鎖も表現しています。

Embark on a sonic odyssey with Foreign Material's latest release on Navigare Audio. Drawing inspiration from the all-encompassing influence of Saturnus, the god of time, transcendence and agriculture. Martins musical universe is both explorative and traditional, taking listeners on unexpected paths while maintaining an innocent and joyful sense of discovery. You can never really expect where he will take you with his new release, you get the sense that he’s carving out the path as he’s walking. On the B-side, we find none other than brother Toffe, the master of suspense - dubbing it out with a reshape of the title track "Saturnian Dub" in an homage to the deity of the golden age of abundance and peace.

Imagine a quiet forest path ahead, flanked by trees slowly swaying in a gentle breeze. The sounds, and smells of a natural place unsullied by a frequent human touch. The birds chirping, a stream nearby gurgles along as it continues its march towards the sea, a tranquil place is this. These mental images and more are what spring to mind when listening through the latest from Georgian producer, BLNDFLD and his VIVID ep.

The release draws heavily from natural sounds, and samples as BLNDFLD states, ‘echoing the beauty of nature and resonating with the depths of your being. Each track is a portal to a different dimension, painting vivid images with strokes of harmonies and rhythms. Inspired by the wonders of nature and the vibrant colors of life, this album encapsulates moments of joy, introspection, and beauty.’

Our premiere for the day, is the aptly titled ‘Whispering Trees’, provides the more introspective addition to the release, the bird twitters and rustling textures abound, providing movement and softening the percussion that slowly guides the listener forward, deeper into the forest…

Whispering Trees, and in turn the rest of the stellar VIVID release including remixes by Adhémar and Doltz, will be out on Bandcamp, the 24th of February.

For his second album on the label, Adhémar has composed an ensemble of intimate and evanescent tracks.

"The Birth of Mist" is set at the beginning of a water steam, in the morning of the world. The artist continues to draw attention to living beings, using a luminous vocabulary. The listener is bathed in colorful sounds and rhythms, contemplating a liquid, shifting landscape that the mist reveals in bits over the course of the 9 compositions.

The story is written and told as you listen, the sounds appear and disappear, each composition inhabits you. The progression of the album is formed of blurred contours, inviting us to tirelessly follow these misty sonic paths.
