On deck for today’s premiere, comes in the form of the French duo, Atomic moog and a debut release on the ever proper Delsin imprint and their Cameron series. The four tracker, “Programm” shows off their discerning take on techno with a stripped back yet powerful approach to crafting their modular rhythms. Our focus lands on the final track of the EP as our love for B sides never wavers.

Computer is a broken beat roller that rounds out the release, giving those head down, serious dancing vibes, the percussion bouncing around a raucous, undulating synth for the first half of the track before switching into a half-time ‘esque tempo for the remainder that adds a nice auditory break from similar sounding four on the floor tracks. Computer would be perfect for any opening set for that switch into high gear.

Programm along with Computer will be released out into the world on the 8th of December on Delsin.

Basstation Social Music is a non-profit project funded by homonymous company that has been promoting techno culture in Sardinia since 2004. It's dedicated to transform the local nightlife landscape, with the aim of creating a safer, healthier and more inclusive nighttime environment. This effort is carried out jointly with "Safer Night Goals", an organization committed to mitigating eventual adverse effects and to implement policies within our nocturnal realm. 

In support of this cause, Basstation Social Music is launching a CHARITY COLLECTION to honor the memory of artist and friend Mezmeric, who recently passed away. Today’s musical rumblings come in the form of Ukrainian DJ and producer, Vera Logdanidi, and her first ever solo release, Banksia. This also marks her first contribution in six years to her own imprint, Rhythm Büro that she co-runs with Oleksandr Pavlenko (aka Na Nich) and Igor Glushko. Her discerning style of musical productions give a refined vibe that hits in all the right places.

Essence, our premiere for today sits pleasantly within the deeper side of things, the muted melody seems to glide throughout, accompanied by the pop of claps and the steady throbbing kicks. Almost seeming to invoke memories of a smoky lounge or basement filled to the brim with dancing bodies.

Essence, and the rest of Banksia will be released later this month.

This EP, entitled “Silv'ahn”, bears witness to a deep artistic reflection. Inspired by recordings from the Skåne region (Sweden), Martinou sounds a connection with nature, magnifying stone, salt and wood. The result is, of course, Martinou's own unique aesthetic: pared-down, emotional tracks underpinned by a groove charged with magic.

The tracks “Boulder ridge” and “Sanctuary” reflect an immersion in the peaceful landscapes of the Röstånga nature reserve. In contrast, “Passage of the Silv'ahn” adds an epic touch to the EP, with menacing beings moving through the misty woods. Finally, Orion's remix extends the intrigue with hypnotic techno tinged with wonder.
