The 22nd Far blue concept is delivered by San Fransisco based DJ and producer Mark Slee.

Mark has taken an interesting approach while creating this blissful mix. The tempo makes a gentle arc up from 120 to 124 bpm and then back down again, mirroring the way the sun bends low over the horizon during a short winter day. From this oblique angle the light glows and glistens. 

So, for the next hour, let Mark take you on a ride which will warm you up for the cold days to come.

A Far Blue concept by Mark Slee - 'Winter Light'

This morning's auditory adventure comes in the form of an Australian creative duo. Igor and Joe have been Facebook Messenger friends since the early '10s, when Igor was blending Ostgut Ton with outsider indie records and Joe was developing his collage-inspired studio mixing style. They've been obsessively swapping Soundcloud links ever since, and collaborated on a 39-track project called 'Tales From Nowhere O'clock' in 2013. Today we welcome their latest, to sound track this Sunday.

The approach for this mix was different from the normal process. Rhythmic and melodic elements come from separate sources. Instead of blending tracks into each other one by one, dozens of beats and grooves were used to build a solid backbone. On top of that spacious soundscapes, track fragments, voices, echoes and reverberating pads float in and out. The whole thing feels endless and dream-like. Everything moves in waves.

Our last release, that was almost 4 months ago saw the first remix for Padre's "Golden Hour Trilogy" EP within Pablo Bolivar's Club Vision of "Roselight". We are tremendously delighted to have the man himself back at it again, delivering a patient and ambient mix, that almost inclusively features an array of music from his labels.
