Featuring 15 producers from the USA, France, UK, Australia and New Zealand, this VA is soaked in dreamy eastern instrumentals, squidgy crunches and soul shaking bass lines. Rhythm Code showcases a mind expanding stew of psydub and midtempo treasures. Each track was donated without intention of individual profit but in means to support expansion and to help sustain the auditory collective, Shanti Planti.

Today marks the release of 'Decoding Dreams,' the second single from the collaborative EP featuring Iyakuh and Lo.Renzo. This track draws inspiration from the enigmatic symbolism and messages entwined within our dreamscapes, seamlessly weaving together the deep jungle soundscapes with the melodious essence of desert landscapes and eastern temples. A deep bassline & textured percussion intertwines with live recordings from the studio, including the Baglama saz, Quena Flute, and tablas, resulting in a captivating fusion of sounds.

Originally developed and taught by Steve Young (Hedflux) and Andy Freist (Opulence) as part of the Audio Alchemy Retreat, there is now a global community of more that 100 producers actively working with this method. 

This is the first compilation from the Audio Alchemy initiates, and marks the birth of a new kind of record label.

Codes of Creation

Inspired by the luscious vocals of the original track, I decided to opt for a more gentle, chilled-out vibe for this remix. Throughout the process my head kept trying to make the tune "more bangin" or "more psychedelic" but my heart kept telling me to just dial it back, be vulnerable, let the vocals set the mood and the tone, and don't try to force it into something it doesn't want to be. 

So this is what came out! I hope you enjoy, let me know what you think <3
