Unable to play guitar, Dewalenn sought another way of expression through music. Now Dewalenn is resident DJ of the ARTNORMES collective that promotes subversive nights in Bordeaux committed to trans-feminist empowerment through art and music. As a DJ and Producer, Dewalenn's mixes are euphoric and offbeat musical trips with high voltage, decadent decibels for incandescent incantations to the glory of techno music.

Her passion for electronic music was ignited during her time at Bristol University, frequenting iconic clubs such as Lakota, Motion and Dojo. Kicking off her DJ career in Ibiza, highlights since have included; Ministry of Sound, UK festivals, East London sets and performing alongside legends such as Hernan Cattaneo, Darren Emerson and Danny Howells. Having set up her own touring event ‘Minority Influence’, championing ethnic minority and female DJ’s, Light Gal is a fierce supporter of emerging talent in the house and techno scene.

I was born in Brantford Ontario Canada July 11th 1963,
I'm a retired City Worker from The Brantford Ontario Works Dept of 34 years of service,
I was 9 years old when I started taking drum lessons with the Ontario Conservatory Of Music,
I taught drum lessons and played in a band that played blues, country, 50's, blue grass,
I started making playlists at the age of 12 years old (1975) Pioneer Turntable, Cassette Deck, Receiver & two 50 watt Speakers.

Jacki-E & P-Mac are influenced by techno, deep house, jungle, dnb and the ethos of the acid house raves and festivals of the early 90's.  If you listen carefully you can hear the underlying stories which have influenced them in their preference for the darker edge of electronic dance music.
