This is Draw The Line Radio Show with Jacki-E, presenting the best music from female producers and DJs.

Helping me Draw the Line this week it’s Ana Lilia who’s originally from Mexico & is now based in Mumbai, India. She’s made her mark across the festival circuit in India and also in Asia with shows in Malaysia and Thailand. Her latest EP, “The Voyeur” came out on NowNow Records in June 2022.  In her DJ sets she can blend bouncy Tech House with deep tribal overtones or deliver a no nonsense Techno mix, and it’s Techno she’s doing for us on this show.

She’s performed at some of London’s most revered venues and her productions include ‘WTF’ which sampled the iconic Roland Clark. “This Is Techno,” a collab with Roland, and “Down Low” a collab with Charmain Love. Both of those collabs are in the mix you’re about to hear. Her new single “My Year” is out today, 2nd Sept 2022 on Toolroom Records and she’s part of Toolroom’s #wearelistening platform which encourages music by female artists.

He started releasing his own tracks in 2011 and at that time was producing and DJ-ing trance. He also presented his own trance radio show, “Mental Therapy” for many years. More recently he’s been uploading a new techno podcast, “Jolly Joker Presents - Live Abstract” to his Soundcloud page every two weeks and it’s techno he’s doing for us..

Jacki-E & P-Mac are influenced by techno, deep house, jungle, dnb and the ethos of the acid house raves and festivals of the early 90's.  If you listen carefully you can hear the underlying stories which have influenced them in their preference for the darker edge of electronic dance music.
