The guest mix in the second hour is by Lee Bedlam from Portsmouth in the UK. He’s been an integral part of the underground scene for nearly 15 years.  He has his own monthly podcast on Soundcloud, The Beats on the Heath, which showcases mixes from techno DJs. His style is hypnotic, immersive techno with a free party rave vibe. For this mix he’s chosen some of his favourite tracks of the past year.

This is Draw The Line Radio Show with Jacki-E, presenting the best music from female producers and DJs.

Helping me Draw the Line this week it’s  Trish Complete, who’s from London, UK. Her uplifting sound comprises a blend of House, Tech House and Techno. She’s performed at some of London’s most revered venues and her productions include ‘WTF’ which sampled the iconic Roland Clark. “This Is Techno,” a collab with Roland, and “Down Low” a collab with Charmain Love. Both of those collabs are in the mix you’re about to hear. Her new single “My Year” is out today, 2nd Sept 2022 on Toolroom Records and she’s part of Toolroom’s #wearelistening platform which encourages music by female artists.

The guest mix in thee second hour is by Tolee, a DJ/ Producer from Berlin. He’s been producing dub & electronica since the late 90’s when his debut album “Tol. Trap” was released. Since 2020 he’s focused more on techno, using uptempo, progressive psytech beats & dark synth stabs in his productions. His most recent EP, “Join Me” was released in July 2022. He’s also a keen live performer, DJ-ing at various events and venues over the years. The mix he’s done for us consists entirely of his own tracks, most of which haven’t been released yet.

Jacki-E & P-Mac are influenced by techno, deep house, jungle, dnb and the ethos of the acid house raves and festivals of the early 90's.  If you listen carefully you can hear the underlying stories which have influenced them in their preference for the darker edge of electronic dance music.
