"The Silk Road" is inspired by the ancient trade route, connecting the East and West. This track is a musical journey, capturing the mystique and allure of distant lands. Imagine traversing vast deserts and bustling bazaars, with every beat and synth echoing tales of old and new. It's a calm and chill soundscape, with an underlying sexy rhythm, reminiscent of a sultry desert night. While listening, one can't help but feel the balanced harmony of adventure and serenity, as if walking on a thread of silk tying the world together.

Helping me Draw The Line this week it’s  Heather Helix who is a Poznań, Poland based DJ with a background in classical music. Her DJ-ing career started after she won a mix contest organized by Oramics collective in 2019. Since then, she’s regularly appeared at local clubs and has also played in clubs in Wroclaw, and Krakow. Her multi-genre sets cover the entire music spectrum from techno, electro and trance to acid. Her record collection is dominated by arpeggiators, Roland TB-303’s, processed vocals and melodic leads.

Jacki-E & P-Mac are influenced by techno, deep house, jungle, dnb and the ethos of the acid house raves and festivals of the early 90's.  If you listen carefully you can hear the underlying stories which have influenced them in their preference for the darker edge of electronic dance music.
Jacki-E & P-Mac write and publish their own original tracks and re-mixes, play DJ sets in clubs, at private parties and for radio shows and podcasts .
