Named Best Spotlight Producer of 2024 by Only Good Vibes Awards, his Disco House remixes of Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Whitney, Bill Withers, Jamiroquai, Chaka Khan, Eurythmics, Prince and Chic have amassed over 12 Million Soundcloud streams.

Collaborating with Nightcrawlers, Rozalla, Kathy Brown and Abigail Bailey, his original productions have been released by labels Tropical Disco, Midnight Riot, Tropical Velvet, Spa In Disco, Bombstrikes and Blockhead, and he regularly produces albums exclusively for Mastermix, Europe’s largest DJ-only music pool.
 
Behind the decks he’s supported The Chemical Brothers, Odyssey, Norman Jay, Freemasons, Lenny Fontana, DJ Yoda, Jazzie B, Scratch Perverts and Grant Nelson, playing for renowned brands Hed Kandi, Ministry Of Sound and Wilderness Festival, and is resident DJ for popular 80’s, 90’s & Disco event Vivid People.
 
With repeated support from Dimitri From Paris, Jamie Jones, Horse Meat Disco, Gok Wan and Rylan’s BBC Radio 2 show,     Jet Boot Jack pushes the boundaries of Disco and House, merging the old with the new, the familiar with the different, the vintage with the cutting-edge, never losing his firm focus on feel-good fun.

Resident dj at Subsound in Liverpool, i do a 2 hour show on www.nsbradio.co.uk every week 3-5pm GMT where i play, Funk, Ghetto Funk, Hip-Hop, Glitch Hop, Reggae, Latin, Breaks, Baltimore, Bass, Dubstep, Drum & Bass and brass band covers of Marvin Gaye

The journey of two began in 2015. By far, they’ve played across the country in the main clubs and parties, local festivals, shared decks with such artists as Wolfstream, Shapeshifters, Pete Herbert. Last year, a debut EP “Friendly Fire” was released via “Night Noise” record label with remixes from Pete Herbert and Martin Noise, along with edits and other tracks. Their EP immediately caught attention and was supported by: Massimiliano Pagliara, Inigo Vontier, Id!r, Did Virgo, Mufti, Gameboyz, Damon Jee, Alexander Robotnik, Andrew Claristidge and many others. They find themselves in various genres: from electronic, indie and breaks sounds to many other styles. Their DJ sets stand out as energetic, upbeat and crafty.

Not being confined by their various musical backgrounds Wicked City is combination of award winning artists simply making the music they love.

With releases and remixes on Owsla, Instant Vibes, Low Temp and writing music for Yamaha plus support from UKF this new project is gaining great momentum.

Signed to Luvlite Recordings, Turntables On The Hudson and Cyron Music, TORNQVIST (aka Oliver Ferdinand) is an insider tip in the editing and remixing scene.

TORNQVIST has released many edits that have reached the HYPEDDITS charts, including "Yali Yali (Nese Karaböcek)", "Italove (Emmanuelle)" and "Come On and Love Me (Lenny Kravitz)", all of which climbed to #1.

In 2015 he appeared as a special guest on the "BLUE DYE rec. Radio Show" on IBIZA LIVE RADIO.

2017 was his biggest release year to date, with his Yali Yali edit reaching #1 on the HYPEDDIT Indie Dance/Nu Disco Charts. It has now been played over 210,000 times across multiple platforms. Later in 2018, legendary DJ Greg Wilson played the edit on the radio and on multiple shows, and selected Oliver Ferdinand's 'Yali Yali' for his 'GREG WILSON'S 20 CHOICE EDITS & REWORKS 2018'.

At the beginning of 2018 Oliver Ferdinand released the Basspatrol mix of Florzinho's "We are One" - the original track appeared on BUDDHA BAR XX.

In 2020 Oliver Ferdinand started his electronic music project TORNQVIST, followed by the first release "Septic", which included a remix by Megablast, one of the most passionate music lovers and producers/DJs in the Austrian club music scene and far beyond. "Septic" climbed to #22 in the BEATPORT Organic House/Downtempo Charts. The remix reached #74 on the Canadian iTunes Charts.

Shortly after, he released his track "New World (Original Mix)" on "Turntables On The Hudson" from Brooklyn/NYC - together with the well-known Dubai DJ Megatronic.

In 2021 TORNQVIST contributed a guest mix to the legendary SWOUND SOUND radio show. DJ Makossa & MC Sugar B have been presenting their weekly Saturday night radio DJ mix show on Austrian nationwide radio station FM4 since 1992! Their show regularly features internationally renowned artists such as Kruder & Dorfmeister, Booka Shade and Oliver Koletzki.

His tracks have been supported by a wide range of well-known DJ's, producers and radio stations, including:
