Pete Bromley has been Stoke On Trent's top House DJ since 1989 and it has been an interesting and varied journey for him! Resident DJ at Stoke's first successful Underground Dance night 'Introspective' back in 1989 he went on to play at the infamous Shelleys Laserdome as well as other influential clubnights across the UK. Pete's next residency was to be at the Freetown in Hanley which would see him play alongside DJ's like Sasha & Dave Seaman. This would become the stepping stone to his next residency, the legendary Golden. Pete was the main resident DJ at Golden for an amazing 11 years which saw him play with the worlds biggest DJ's bar none. During this time he played many guest appearances at places such as Cream, Renaissance, Ministry Of Sound and DJ magazine listed him as one of the most popular resident DJ's in the world, resulting in his Essential Mix live on Radio 1 alongside Pete Tong at Sankeys in 1996. Quite an accolade seeing as he has never bolstered his career with international gigs, remixes or a recording career as 99% of producer/DJ's do these days. After Golden's demise In 2003, Pete then went on to become one of the resident DJ's at Satchmo's which has now become part of Stoke clubbing folkelore and his position has been cemented over the last years as resident DJ for the Move and their parties at The Sugarmill, Spode Warehouse & The Underground  playing alongside Jamie Jones, Patrick Topping, Solardo, Skream, Annie Mac, Derrick Carter, Pete Tong, MK, Todd Terry, Seth Troxler, The Martinez Brothers, Steve Lawler, Hot Since 82, Eats Everything, Darius Syrossian,Micheal Bibi, Alan Fitzpatrick, wAFF,  Dimitri From Paris, Kenny Dope, Low Steppa, Dan Shake amongst dozens of House musics elite. For any DJ and bedroom producer, the ability to “hustle” is often the most underestimated, yet most important factor in determining whether they will fade out or successfully make their mark on the industry. Good hustle is the epitome of both the man and monumental career of international DJ, Roger Sanchez. From humble beginnings in New York City, diggin’ in dusty crates of old vinyl and spinning at house parties in Corona, Queens, to dominating huge dance floors and headlining festival main-stages in every corner of the globe, Roger is truly a self-made man and a house music legend.

The crafting of Roger Sanchez, the DJ, started in the late 80s, where as a young man he was enticed by the explosion of hip-hop that was taking over the city. Embracing the culture as a b-boy and graffiti artist, he would hit parties on the Bronx River and before long, his friends had him trying his hand on the wheels of steel. In a time and place where hip hop, house music, and “turntablism” all collided in a perfect storm of creativity, opportunity, and sick beats, Roger seized his moment and began to build his empire on vinyl and slip mats, starting with a few singles and expanding into a massive collection of over two thousand original productions and remixes.
Releasing music under a multitude of monikers, including the S-Man, Roger S., The Nu- Solution, Underground Solution, DV8, Ego Trip, El Mariachi, The Funkjunkeez, Tribal Infusion, Twilight, and Transatlantic Soul, just to name a few, Roger has been able to maintain the essence of his sound, his flavor, his “sabor”, if you will, while still using each alter ego as a tool to expand on various fresh and experimental sounds. Each one of his multiple music personas have allowed him the opportunity to defy the mainstream and travel out to the far reaches of the musical galaxy, collecting depth, wisdom, and perspective along the way and applying them to his future endeavors in innovative dance music sounds, allowing him to remain fluid and cutting edge across decades.

So many successful endeavors would have never been possible without a rock solid work ethic, something that Roger prides himself on. From the very beginning, he was a dedicated crate digger, searching for obscure samples and break beats in influential NYC record stores like Rock & Soul and Vinylmania. His infallible work ethic, paired with the strong foundation of art and culture that he gained from the Pratt Institute’s School of Architecture took control of the wheel as his passion for music expanded, driving him to start hustling mixtapes on the sidewalks of Broadway in order to finance his earliest gigs. With the encouragement of his father, an engineer, Roger abandoned his plans for a career in architecture and decided to devote all his efforts to his music.

Lee discovered dance music at an early age during the explosion of breakdance & B-Boy culture of the early 80's and has been hooked ever since. Hanging around early local Stoke on Trent club nights such as 'Introspective' & 'Sindrome' circa 1990 resulted in Lee forcing his way into the DJ booth by any means necessary and never leaving! Comparing at the infamous 'Entropy' and 'Amnesia' nights in the legendary Shelleys Laserdome & Leisurebowl nightclubs progressed into DJing & making music for 10 years under dozens of pseudonyms producing & remixing over 100 records via a multitude of genres & labels such as Network, 6x6, Strictly Rhythm, Perfecto, Hooj Choons, Platipus, Estereo, DMC, BMG, Hi Bias, Gusto and City Rockers and various gigs at mainly local clubs with the occasional high profile gig, playing it deeper in backrooms at Ministry of Sound ('96) & Renaissance ('97). Studio manager at Midiroom studios for 8 years and label manager/A&R for imprints Freebass, Ruff Definition & Sexafonic records. One of the founders and resident DJs of seminal Stoke on Trent club night Reckless at Satchmos Playing Disco, Boogie, Old Skool Hip Hop & Balearic beats from 98-08 bringing guests such as Kool Herc, Mantronix & Grandmaster Flash to Stoke and Chief editor of Move magazine from 2001-2006. Still DJing, mainly for The Move which is now an promotion company putting on events since 2011 which currently resides at The Sugarmill & The Exchange in Hanley Stoke On Trent on selected weekend dates which sees him in his current & most predominant role as events organiser, bringing diverse guest DJ's such as Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, The Martinez Bros, Dam Swindle, Greg Wilson, Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak, Skream, Kevin Saunderson, Denis Sulta, Eats Everything, Sasha, Dimitri From Paris, Skream, Patrick Topping, Kenny Dope, Todd Terry & Snoop Dogg...
