Tina Turner cover! Heresy? Sure! I gave up on the voice, but still trying to achieve legs like hers. This one is a bit inspired by the version they played on the David Letterman show, with Bill Cosby on cowbell. Hope you enjoy!

The main reason I did this was because my maestro told me to practice the blues scale, so I made my first guitar noodle :-)

The Change is here.  It's continues to be such a long road ahead, but we've now seen remarkable progress in upcoming vaccines for COVID and a new president has been elected in the US.  We're feeling a change.
Joining us on this original are the superb guitarists Stephan Lipinski and Daniele Turani, with whom I have created a whole lot of music.  Beautiful players who inspire me and others around the world.  But the key addition on our track is Los Angeles composer, producer and piano and keyboard player extraordinare, Brian McDonald.  He's such an incredible musician, who makes a living creating music for advertising and movies, and reworked the entire original, changing the structure, adding his wonderful piano and synth work, and turning this into something really special. There is an African plain the color of the sun where men dance for the rains to come.
They paint their hair and bodies red and jump toward the stars,
while the women sing the story of Nahsa, the Girl who touched the Sky.

A note from Marie-Jose Payannet, Director of Danse Etoile Ballet:
In those hard times when live performances cannot happen, Danse Etoile Ballet is producing a movie based on the original story written and illustrated by director Marie-Jose Payannet.  The story will unfold with dances mixed with narration and dialog, choreographed to diverse musics. Danse Etoile has been fortunate to work with Colorado's own composer Bruce Klepper who composed this beautiful piece for a solo danced by Nasha.

Once again Zurich's Paul Racle has created a super funky track and offered it up for collaboration.  I jumped on it, adding some synth work with chords and solos, and latin percussion.  But it's Paul's creation, which features so many sides of his abilities.  I'll start with this ability to create and share with and for others, as he has been doing this for years on SoundCloud, across so many different genres.  I've jumped in on almost 20 of these and it's always a blast because the tracks are so well done.  Paul (Paploviante here on SC) is a multi talented musician, including a very strong bass player, guitarist, drummer and writer.  Check out and follow his SC music:
