Recording Bob Marley's classic Three Little Birds has been something I have wanted to do since I joined SoundCloud, and the incredible Alpha Roots jumps in with me here to bring this to life.  Alphio has been so close to Bob Marley's music and teachings, and he brings everything musically and spiritually to this recording, as he does so musically to everything and everyone he touches.  In addition to the beautiful singing, Alphio has created a 2 riddim guitar tracks, an organ track and a bass guitar track.  I'm producing music in a way more than modelling as composing and the results are probably not what you expected. For sure, they are not mainstream :)

I enjoy composing, arranging and recording music on an ever-expanding array of guitars, especially Fender electrics and Martin acoustics.  My musical journey began more than half a century ago, and every day brings new opportunities for continued growth as a musician.  My current leading influences include Jim Campilongo, Scotty Anderson and Guthrie Trapp.  I love Beethoven, Keith Richards, Henry Mancini, Aretha Franklin and a thousand others whose music has brought me joy, whether for many decades or for a few minutes.  I strive to learn something from every piece of music that I hear, and to make music that others will enjoy hearing.

I'm an amateur DIYer in terms of recording, doing everything in my music space at home and learning as I go.  I enjoy experimenting with a variety of microphones and mic placements, recording into a Zoom R16 and using Audacity as my DAW.  I use an array of Fender tube amps, all blackface/silverface reissues, and a modest pedal board.  I record acoustic instruments either with condenser microphones directly on the instruments or else amped through a Fishman Loudbox Mini.

"Jörg S. born in Cologne, from youth on, is fascinated by all kinds of art, so he taught himself the saxophone very early. Nowadays flutes of all kind are also part of the equipment, as are jaw harps, percussion, bass, guitars and keyboards.
He was and is always involved in many band projects and session events.
In the 80s he was a saxophonist in the Adam Noidlt Intermission Orchestra with gigs in Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf and Basel. Very early on he also worked as a writer with live readings in the Cologne area and was a painter with large formats for many years, all in addition to his job as a graphic designer. Now, retired, he is devoted solely to music: home recording with the platform of choice, Soundcloud and global collaborations."

Originally from Chicago, where I developed a strong appreciation for the blues and classical, and moved to New York, where jazz and the fine arts are so deep.
