You'll recognize Ian's signature funky guitar playing, wicked sense of humor, outstanding wild graphics and great taste. Ian loves his wah wah pedal, combining it to create so many infectious compositions and grooves.

In addition to being a fine guitar player with a tremendous sense of humor, Ian Tait cooks.  Both on his Strat and in the kitchen.  He's a very fine professional chef from Scotland whose specialty is pastries.   Not blowing anything up your Kilt when I say fine. Blues For Charlie is a dedication to the lives that were lost recently in Paris and now Copenhagen.  Our hope is that the emotion of the playing here touches people to remind them of the sadness of these horrible acts.

We have just released the remix of our song “Red Seas.”

Our live recording video is also well worth watching. It's a live performance by Amanitalinda with the guimbarde. Despite the challenges of the live jam session, she plays her wonderful Maultrommel with clockwork precision, yet sensitively and empathetically!

We have another great Rooftop Jam Session for you today💖

In May 2024, the Rooftop Live Jam took place at Amanitalinda's house. There was a live didgeridoo performance on the rooftop.
Our Child of Nature backing track served as the basis.

In October 2025, Jörg and Morten revisited this idea and expanded Amanitalinda's live performance with bass and tenor saxophones, resulting in this stunning remix.

Linda's didgeridoo and Jörg's tenor sax alternate in playing the role of the main instrument. Which feel wonderfully integrated into the overall character of the song.
It feels like we're a smart little band that can coordinate well with each other. This is a unique interval that resonates body and soul.

Peter and Seagull reflect on what could happen, but has not happened yet, and I pray never happens if humanity ceases to be human.  The headlines would tell us we are near the brink, but daily life and interactions with everyday people tell a different story.  Hope abounds when helping hands are present, there is plenty to go around when the plenty is shared, and forgiveness can heal the deepest wounds.  None of it is easy and there are no easy answers and great effort may be required, but infinitely preferable to the despair depicted in Peter's sobering lyric poetry.  The bottom line for me is; keep the faith, with God and with each other.

The tune includes a combination of grooves, with funk, funk rock, a little latin, some disco and a little touch of what I will call Pink Floyd.  All packaged together neatly. Dancing Fool - with Ian Tait / guitar

Back with another heavy funk groove - Wobble Home - with Edinburgh's executive chef Ian Tait doing the cooking.  Ian whips up an infectious wah wah layer over the deep synth and conga rhythms, then comes in with some heavy guitar soloing as the main course.   The conga groove reminded me of the classic Wobble, so we've named it Wobble Home - an after hours, he's been over-served again, funk fusion tune. Wobble Home - with Ian Tait / guitar

The funkiest guitar player on SoundCloud is BACK, with this grooving original, Can't Get Enough Of You.  Scotland's finest has teamed up with Germany's super funky slap bass marvel Mirko "Stringburner" Borach, creating what I can only say reminds me of one of the all time greatest tunes, Mountain's Mississippi Queen.  But Mountain never had a rhythm section playing with this much funk!  Ian's letting me do my thing on keyboards, and you can hear me soloing in the right channel, trying to hold my own over this nasty rocking blues.
