Lovely song ……. Quirky, inventive and love those clever, heartfelt lyrics - loved the melody too :)

Quirky, yes but so are dreams, our unconscious showing us life from inside out; and what if we woke up to a dream reality--unnerving to think about.  A wonderfully thoughtful song and delivered with sweet but penetrating vocal skill.

Phew! That was a sail. Complex,curious,catchy and creative.

Really nice vocals, lyrics and mix. Sounds great.

You really captured the absurdity of life in these colorful metaphors and you embody it vocally just wonderful Janine:)

Your bluebird was a pointed rock?
A dog bite was a diamond

After sixty years of knowing

It’s a real peculiar feeling
And I don’t know where it’s  going      
    
A matchbox is a matchbox
That is something everybody knows 
But what if then you stayed up very late into the evening and 
Your matchbox was a carpet flying you right through the ceiling?
A trail of fire behind you as you wish the world goodbye?
