Sonic & Knuckles Collection for the PC had different tracks for a variety of levels and menus, presumably due to legal issues with the original tracks. 

The purpose of this project is to make these alternative tracks sound as if they were on the Sega Genesis, using Sonic 3 & Knuckles instrumentation.

-Proof of concept-
The PC version of Sonic 3 & Knuckles contain different tracks for levels and menus, such as this one. I'm trying to arrange them so they sound like they came from the Genesis.

V2* Last version had the Death Egg section too loud, and made everything sound a bit disharmonious (And sounded ugly as hell), so I toned it down and moved it more towards the background.

V3* I still wasn't quite too happy with it, so I made some instrument changes and removed the death egg nod as I couldn't get it to work as I wanted.

Most of what I do revolves around the use of FM instrumentation, mainly the YM2612 sound chip used on the Sega Genesis; but I do make stuff outside of it sometimes. I use FM8 and Genny for most of what I do.
