Recently he release EP on Paula Temple's label Noise Manifesto His concept EP, Breaking Barriers, is a poignant emotional journey that explores the struggles of refugees and their fight for a better future. Each track vividly captures a particular experience and culminates in a call to action against oppression, war, and nationalism. Breaking Barriers inspires listeners to create positive change and break free from the barriers of the prison we are all in.

In this episode, @barnjemdj delivers blend of different styles, combining hypnotic beats with edgier sounds, resulting in plenty of unexpected and thrilling moments.

Barnjem, a Venezuelan DJ and producer, has been in the electronic music scene since 2016. His journey into electronic music began with a strong interest in Spanish techno, which sparked a passion to explore sound and rhythm. Influenced by artists like Oscar Mulero, Exium, Reeko, Moddullar and A Thousand Details from Portugal, Barnjem was drawn to the hypnotic and powerful nature of techno. He immersed himself in the genre, studying its ins and outs, and started experimenting with his own sound.

In 2017, Barnjem started DJing, refining his skills and developing his style. His sets are known for their thumping basslines and atmospheric vibes.

Three years ago, Barnjem ventured into production, collaborating with his mentor, Joton, on releases for Kobold Records and Newrhythmic Records. These releases showcased his talent for creating intricate and immersive tracks, establishing him as a rising star in the electronic music scene.

Today, Barnjem keeps exploring new horizons in electronic music, taking cues from his favorite artists and the diverse array of sounds around him.

Jedi Wright is an electronic musician, producer, step-sequencer, and sonic sketcher dabbling in experimental techno, electronica, and indie industrial-rock. 

He's equally comfortable working in Logic Pro X as he is using Ableton Live Suite. He started off DJing back in 1995 and quickly transitioned over to producing in Roland's MC-808, 505, and 303 alongside an original polyphonic Moog Minimoog–allegedly modified directly by Bob Moog himself, or so the story goes by Ian Smith (formerly of S.F.'s S.P.A.Z. collective) and a Korg M-1. Later, he dabbled in Reason and FL Studio. Along the way, he befriended and helped promote several events, ranging from John-Emmanuel Gartmann's Tsunami (formerly Tsunami Trance) productions in N.Y.C. to Trevor Wyse's Green Sector parties in Southern California.

Professionally, he's served as a founding team member of The Do LaB, helping lay the foundations of the SoCal-based collective, and served as Director of Media Relations for Rooftop Promotion (later evolved into Visions From the Roof), where he promoted a diverse range of record labels and artists including Tresor Records, Simon Posford’s Twisted Records (including his Hallucinogen and Sphongle releases), along with one of Ableton's founders, Robert Henke, and his music produced under Monolake/Imbalance Computer Music [ml/i], through a partnership with Germany's EFA Distribution. He's currently working on several related events and ventures.
