Deine Musik ist für mich immer Abenteuer pur, deshalb nehme ich als Geschichte zum „Anfassen“ die Odyssee 😊. Wieder sehr beeindruckend, wie du es schaffst, vom ruhigen Einstieg mit Klavier und Streichern das Stück bis zu dem kraftvollen Höhepunkt zu entwickeln. Ein sehr schönes Stück!

Diese wunderbar organische und bewegliche Textur, die Du im Intro um das Klavier webst, macht das Intro lebendig und kurzweilig. Dann das orchestrale Crescendo in Kombination mit dem modernen Trailer-Drop - großartig! Und im großen Finale ruhst Du Dich nicht aus, sondern setzt mit jeder Modulation nochmal einen drauf. Ein mega Stück! Aber noch eine Frage: Freundest Du Dich etwa langsam mit dem Klavier im orchestralen Kontext an? ;-)

Jens, was für ein epischer Aufbau! Die Spannung wächst Stück für Stück, bis man völlig hineingezogen wird. Ich musste sofort an die Musik von Interstellar denken – diese Mischung aus Weite, Tiefe und Emotion passt perfekt. 🎶❤️🎶

Eigentlich ist schon alles gesagt....nur noch nicht von jedem.😉 Ich möchte mich besonders den Worten von Torben, David und Matthias anschließen. Ein großartiges hybrides Stück, Jens. Bravo! 👏💫

This Time

Ascension tells the story of a protagonist following his career path, overcoming fears and barriers, getting over self doubt and adverse conditions. Or maybe the tale of a space odyssey operated by a huge company and its rise to the most powerful entity of mankind. 

Choose whatever you want and please tell it in the comments.

This is a hybrid track starting with a solo violin and piano and strings accompaniment. A constant soft string ostinato is opposed to a synth pulse. The middle part starts very ambient with spacious pads but rises in tension with the help of the orchestra.

The climax is introduced with a strong melodic statement played by horns. It's further developed with modulation and varied instrumentation.

The outro is more or less a mirror of the intro.

This was an idea that had been kicking around in my head for a while. 
Then I wrote the lyrics while lying on a sun bed on my hols. 
A story about two men dating the same woman and having to share her. Their not happy but she’s enjoying them both for different reasons. 
One man has the cash to flash the other is partially broke but she’s enjoying them both equally for different reasons. 
They all know the score but can’t make up their minds to just walk away. 
I’m sure this goes on but this is just a tongue in cheek that’s  a little giggle of a song and to put a smile on your face while listening. 
And no it’s not from my past experiences  lol. 
Thanks as always to Mike for just being the best as always, converting sketch’s into full blown productions while making me laugh on the way. Last but not least Kim for her sultry vocal contributions that had a bit of Beautiful South Magic. 
Both are a true professionals & a pleasure to work with once we have dragged Kim out the pub.

3 Point Love Affair - This Sound Society

Moonlight

Verse 1- For centuries we kept the song,
Stone-born tongue, wind proud and
strong. In Ayala’s hills at dawn, Something
shone where peace had gone.
Verse 2- Not a dream, nor morning light,
A ship flew past the tree in flight.
Shepherds saw the dancing glow, Led to
Gernika, silent though.
Chorus- They came not to invade, Nor to
stare, hearts afraid. They came to make a
vow, To sign with no doubt now. Basques
and Altarians, hand in hand, Intergalactic
treaty… signed and grand!
Verse 3- They brought symbols, voices
far, Yet understood just who we are.
Euskera floated through the skies, As if it
lived in starry highs.
Bridge- In the Assembly Hall, beneath the
ancient tree, Peace rose up in a tongue
for all to see. Pens that levitate, bright
accords ignite, History changed… without
a single fight.
Final Chorus- They came not to invade,
Nor to stare, hearts afraid. They came to
dream and share, To sign with utmost
care. Basques and Altarians, hand in
hand, Intergalactic treaty… signed and
grand!

Story
At the Gasteiz Conference Center, under a translucent dome that reflected the constellations in real time, a diplomatic dinner was held that would mark a turning point in interplanetary history. The menu, designed by chef Andoni Orbegozo in collaboration with the Titan Gastronomic Institute, fused Basque tradition with cosmic ingredients.
The cider-marinated asteroid steak arrived sizzling on lunar ceramic plates. Its texture was firm, with mineral veins that melted upon contact with the tongue. The ambassador from Proxima Centauri emitted a deep, sustained hum, which his attendants translated as "an excellent balance between gravity and sweetness."
The nebula pintxos with Idiazabal cheese floated lightly above the plate, thanks to a magnetic levitation technique. The representative from Bizkaia, with tears in her eyes, murmured: “This is like eating history... with the flavor of apples.” No one knew if she was talking about the cheese, the nebula, or her childhood in Bermeo.
The sparkling txakoli from Titan's moon was served in polar quartz glasses. The senator from Mars, who had arrived with a reputation as a skeptic, asked for three more. “I've never tasted something so light and so powerful at the same time,” he said, while his third toast caused an artificial aurora borealis to appear over the table.
The Lehendakari, with a smile that seemed to contain centuries of pride, declared: “This is what happens when Basque cuisine looks to the cosmos.” And in that moment, everyone present humans, Altarians, Centaurians, and Martians understood that this wasn't just a dinner. It was a declaration of intent.
The opposition leader, without losing his vindictive tone, asked: "Are we not facing a new era of absolute consensus... or of institutional confusion?" No one responded.
They probably didn't know how to answer; the silence was as savory as the last sip of txakoli.

Lover of orchestral film scores and epic music.

I had started making music in the 90s with my Amiga 500 but it wasn't capable (me neither) of producing the sound of a whole orchestra.

The diverse musical expressions in filmscores have a bigger emotional impact than any other genre I can think of. My music is heavily inspired by the great composers around 1980-2000, like John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, James Horner, Basil Poledouris and Hans Zimmer.

With synthesizers, a whole new world of sound has entered the arena and merges with the orchestra to a fantastic sonic experience.

I try to tell stories and convey emotions in my pieces to take you onto a journey into unknown territory.
