This is a musical journey of a young protagonist discovering a magical forest and encountering the wonders of nature beyond imagination: Sylvan Secrets.

The story:
There are undiscovered wonders of the woodlands. The trees loom tall and twisted. Whispers float on the breeze. As the perilous journey continuous tiny figures dart in the canopy. Where the sun beams fade slowly the creatures of the darkness are ready to chase its prey. Beware the ambush of the beasts. But you are not alone. Ancient beeings care for the natural balance of the forest, even if the means: encounter and battle.

I used mostly orchestral and some electronic sounds to convey a magical, enchanted vibe. This changes to a driving synth pulses and later to a creepy part followed by an adventurous arrangement with a full blown orchestra. The epic finale ends with a huge choir, rhythmic string staccatos, a load of brass, lots of percussion and even a rhythm guitar.

Lover of orchestral film scores and epic music.

I had started making music in the 90s with my Amiga 500 but it wasn't capable (me neither) of producing the sound of a whole orchestra.

The diverse musical expressions in filmscores have a bigger emotional impact than any other genre I can think of. My music is heavily inspired by the great composers around 1980-2000, like John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, James Horner, Basil Poledouris and Hans Zimmer.

With synthesizers, a whole new world of sound has entered the arena and merges with the orchestra to a fantastic sonic experience.

I try to tell stories and convey emotions in my pieces to take you onto a journey into unknown territory.
