Crazy Moon

Such a magical full moon night
Now it rules the night
And tarot cards laid out
You're before me in the moonlight
That falls on your face —
You are lovely, no doubt.

Spread the cards and tell my fortune,
I want our lines of life and fate to merge soon.
But now I have immersed myself 
In the signs of the deviant moon.

A salted kiss

I'm not sure what it looks like in the rest of the United States but in the Northeast here all of our trees and plants that are usually vibrant green this time of year are faded and washed out looking, like they aren't getting nearly enough sunlight.  If you've been paying attention for the past year or two the government and media have been laying the groundwork to put the blame on climate change but those of us that use more of our brains than most others know what's really going on. If you don't know and you think those of us that do are crazy conspiracy nuts then look in the mirror and you will see the real problem.  And remember,  yesterday's conspiracies are today's realities.

The sun no longer shines brilliantly somebody decided we no longer need
light for the plants our family's feed 
won't somebody please tell me what it means 

we can't live without the light 
look up in the sky and ask yourself 
why? Why? Why?

 Why do all the trees look faded green
not enough sun is what it means
 don't listen to the lies 
every news station tries 
While the truth is right outside
 open your eyes!

 Why, why do they want everything to die? 
Why don't we know where we're getting our next meal 
why does the water leave a stain on stainless steel

why do they lie and tell us that we're free

so long we bought the lie
 turned our heads and called them crazy when we knew deep in our hearts that what they say is true

I like to write.  Singing the songs I write turned out to be a little more challenging than i at first thought it would be.  My hope is for a real singer to see and hear my work and decide that they would like one of my songs or would like me to write some songs for them.  I can think of a lot of performers who would be great singing some of my songs.  If that's you hit me up!
