Pulled up the old Korgs and came up with this rolling minimal techno pattern, may it be called "Analog Aura". The Monotribe was btw my first ever synth and it's still a beast 🎛️

The samples feature some of my field recordings such as birds singing and the hi-hat that is made from the sound of me stepping on snow ❄️🐦

I routed the Keys and Montribe to the inputs of my Digitakt in the mono split mode, added a bit delay & reverb and recorded the mixdown  straight from the Digitakt.

Gear used: Elektron Digitakt, Korg Monotribe, Korg Volca Keys

Analog Aura

4.30 the equipment is not ready, we drink lemonwater and role our cigarettes.
4.40 the crowd is gone, the equipment is ready, so we are. We start our journey, well prepared, highly focused and deeply touched. We travel through rhythmic patterns, trippy playful sounds, epic and melancholic melodies and slow deep breakbeats.. the sun is welcoming us through the dust and smoke from the dancefloor, some dear friends shining, dancing and dreaming with us.. it is 8 in the morning, we wake up, crowling in the warm sand with our tired toes. Greatful for that beautiful dream.

This mix serves as the soundtrack to a chapter in my life during which I grew increasingly attuned to the absurdity of the world. It tells the story of my ongoing quest for belonging in a place that felt both comforting and unforgiving—an environment that, no matter how welcoming it seemed at times, never fully made sense. As I began to reconnect with myself, I noticed how much of my energy was spent molding myself in an attempt to find belonging, only to realize that this effort fuelled greater struggle and inner conflict. The harder I fought for control, the more I encountered resistance.

Ultimately, the journey culminates in a moment of surrender, where peace is found in embracing the ridiculousness of life and accepting that reality is beyond explanation—a profound realization that life is simply about being, sparking a renewed love for its chaotic, irrational beauty.

What a morning, rain, nearly freezing temperatures but what a stable crowd. I loved every minute of this set and its always soo good to be back at Waldtraut floor. A lot of tracks where already tested at Hai in den Mai and Sisyphos massive Hammahalle and i think this is the best techno at moment.... thank you Rummels Bucht for the ongoing  trust and my friends that share the same passion!

Here is the recording of my liveset played at "Wald"  at "Garbicz Festival. I jumped in for Britta Arnold, who unfortunately had to cancel last minute. I was particularly sorry because I know that this festival is family to her. 

For the same reason, I was also aware of the responsibility it is to fill this slot. I knew that I couldn't replace Britta, of course, but I would do the best I can, with the biggest respect and sensitivity I could bring.
