Our next guest is oriented in Ambient, Deep and Tribal sound style. He is attracted to the soundscape, the environment, and a lover of angelic tonality and healing frequencies. He is a co-founder and producer of the @deepnorte series which is representing a community dedicated to the deep and hypnotic sides of electronic music. His music combines ambient, organic sounds, tribal chases, and dub techno, a journey of high vibration and mental stimulation.  Please welcome @ancientforest as he delivers a rhythmic downtempo session full of hypnotic ambiance, floating atmospheres, and intricate percussions.

Autumn is here and so is the 43rd chapter of our podcast. Pius Perplex is the technoid pseudonym of Lander, a “long legged” DJ based in Belgium. As the co-creator of Konfusus Kollektif, he’s organizing events in the Ghent area, as well as managing the Techno stage at the respected Space Safari Festival. Lander has a deep interest in the marriage of Techno and Psychedelia, and is here sharing a live recording of his set at the Ethereal Decibel Festival in Normandy, France. And as we all know Navigare Audio has a great passion for publishing sets from actual events and this one was truly a treat to dive into.

Another 1,5h live this time from my favourite underground club in Helsinki ♦️  This was the day before Ascension day 28.05.2025. 

I started the set with some ambient pads navigating my way slowly to groovy, hypnotic and deep waters.

This was exceptionally fun set and I felt so comfortable playing that it was almost like jamming at home. The dance floor was full and the energy was wholesome ❤️

Kalumet is Zoltan Vajda from Hungary - one of the old-school storytellers of the psytrance scene. Active since the mid-90s, he’s witnessed the global rise and evolution of psychedelic music firsthand. His sets are deep, twisted journeys, shaped by decades of experience and an eclectic mix of influences - from Joy Division and Kraftwerk to Spirit Zone and global folk traditions.

Starting with guitar and bass in the late ‚80s, Kalumet’s sonic path led him through punk, industrial, techno, and psytrance. Under aliases like Ork Monk and Tiger Punch, he’s performed in unforgettable venues across the globe - from catacombs and mountaintops to jungles and beaches, and on the main stages of Ozora, Boom, Voov, and more.
