Jay One grew up with roots in hip hop culture - carrying over to his trap flavoured style today. Heavily influenced by forward thinking bass music & rap lyrics, he rinses a wide range of genres including trap, hip hop, bass, dubstep, footwork & half time. Passionate and polished, his track selection is always mindfully curated to create an energy that is felt by all. Jay One puts the decks to work, moving through mixes at provocative velocities. His sets pop off as he manipulates tracks to keep you guessing. Gangster vocals layered on filthy baselines, he paints on the smooth spread.
