Agony/Ecstasy explores the metaphysical friction, pain, transcendence, and magnificent glory we experience in our last moments. 

This piece is dedicated to my grandmother Charlotte, who suffered
from and eventually succumbed to Type One Bipolar Disorder. The duality she  struggled to contain in her life can be heard in the bars of this music, which represents one great transition to peace.
