Jansen Records is a Oslo, Norway record label with the good stuff.

Hailing from the beautiful town of Sandeid in the western part of Norway, Maria Toresen moved to Stavanger to pursue her passion for music. In the recent years she has been playing Norwegian festivals, showcases and supports for some of the most acknowledged artists in Norway.

Maria Toresen is a true indie artist. She releases everything on her own label and let herself inspire from various genres and artists like Agnes Obel, First Aid Kit and Bon Iver.

Her critically acclaimed debut album, ‘Birds Don’t Tell’ received reviews comparing her to Susanne Sundfør (HA, 19.11.2015) and her single “The Mountain” was listed on Radio 102 as well as doing turns on the Norwegian radio channel NRK P13.
