The Wrong Direction

First-ever attempt at stretching out a sketch to something like a song. I realize there is a bridge missing 3/4 into the song, if anybody has an idea...

Also -- I am looking for somebody to write the lyrics and record the vocals for this one. I imagine a deep, low voice, a bit like Johnny Cash or Matt Berninger (The National).

I have a melody in mind / in my head and could record a second mellow version with some humming if you're interested.

A Love Unfinished (Demo)

One of our biggest inspirations has been bluegrass in a very subtle but important way. The precise and emotional sound of Alison Krauss and the Union Station has always been in the background for vocal influence. We saw them in concert in Searcy, Arkansas in 2011 and it made us realise just how much work it takes to be that perfect live. A lesson for us. This is a cover of that band. Vocals by Leanne Jay Brookes and music and male backings by Phil Brookes.
