Cocos Lovers -Listening Ear

This is a brilliant song that I've just discovered, which we played for the first time at our church when we had FIVE baptisms and dedication on the same Sunday!!

The wonderful backing vocals are by Jo, sensitive and creative bass by Pete, lovely organ playing by Chris.  We only learned the song together that week and I'm pretty chuffed with the result.  It was recorded by a basic MP3 recorder at the back of the church.

BTW - the photo is when I went walking around my friend's town with their pet Ball Python called Cinnamon.

A song of gratitude for the life of my dear friend Martin, who died two years ago.  I wrote most of it the week after his death, intending to play it at his funeral, but it was too raw and i couldn't finish it back then.  This weekend, taking part in a ceremony of remembrance for him, I caught and reeled-in the bridge which completes my feelings.  It's a very simple song.

And you were a brave one, crossing those lines in the sand
