I have a lot of material finished now that I was going to inflict on the world earlier in the year but then the stuff that has happened and is still happening happened. A lot of my new tracks are a bit on the heavy/morose/miserable side, but this one about fear of haircuts is relatively cheery - and haircuts are kind of topical at the moment - so there is that.

Yes...i know...
"it all sounds kinda New Agey" ... and... perhaps these liner notes' could be so construed. But the music was actually born out of months of contemplation of a Huge life-manifested Zen Koan i came up against! :) And what an opportunity to Compose through. ;)

The Koan was " What is the Sound of Manifestation? What is the SOUND of the Process of The Stuff of Life, Arising... coming into being? 

As it does, it dances, and continually sparks New manifestations of substance on this plane; and then dissolves back into 'the vacuum' out of which it arose.

What could 'that' sound like?
Hmmmm. Impossible, yet tantalising.

No matter... many have found that the Peace they felt in resonating with whatever IT ultimately IS, is More than Enough to keep them totally focused and interested in the Tone. ;)

If you should find this composition relaxing and easy to resonate with,
we would be more than happy.

"Jörg S. born in Cologne, from youth on, is fascinated by all kinds of art, so he taught himself the saxophone very early. Nowadays flutes of all kind are also part of the equipment, as are jaw harps, percussion, bass, guitars and keyboards.
He was and is always involved in many band projects and session events.
In the 80s he was a saxophonist in the Adam Noidlt Intermission Orchestra with gigs in Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf and Basel. Very early on he also worked as a writer with live readings in the Cologne area and was a painter with large formats for many years, all in addition to his job as a graphic designer. Now, retired, he is devoted solely to music: home recording with the platform of choice, Soundcloud and global collaborations."
