A very adventurous production that transports the listener through some very vast and fine realms of audio bliss. Really incredible to read that much of this was recorded in one take. Absolutely amazing. Mesmerizing musical performances with some really great touches on the production side of the things with the creative uses of delay and sound placement(s). Absolutely stellar work !! This took my somewhat monotonous workday to a whole other level while listening to this earlier !!

Beneath the tepid summer night,  soft footfalls came to tread,
The bursting of the fireflies’,  lights sprinkling overhead.
The people who bore witness,  had nothing like it seen before:
Sparkling spritz a-fizzling out,   some place between the sky and floor.

		Wishing on a moment, That light too quickly dies
		Why is it so fleeting, This glow of the fireflies.

To think such blinking lights,  were but little bugs.
Bearing magic where they went,  and no noise made the fireflies.
But as micro shooting stars,     here they they were sent.

𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗮 is the first 𝗦𝘃𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗺 album recorded in studio.
This music project for meditation, relaxation, healing and inner jouney has been shared by João Sousa in live sessions for different audiences in different places.

Svayam is the reflection of an inner search, a journey from the abstraction of the senses to the celebration of the union between body and mind, and what lies beyond. His music echoes for union and equality of all beings.
The title of this work is Casa (Home), because inside of it exists many houses, many changes of earth, water, fire and air. In here, you can find different concepts of home, of body, of a place where there is no separations between the One and the Whole .
Casa lies in a timeless idea of ​​home, an intimate and safe space that we can access by simply closing the eyes, taking a deep breath, reaching a universal place and a desire to be the home.
Here and now.
In search of the Self, every place is home. ॐ ☮

I Can't Get You Off of My Mind

This is the result of yet another jam session with Maxim Lichtenwald (@maxim-lichtenwald) and Leo Cuznetov. As per usual, the jam session took several hours, and we experimented with many sounds, settings and ideas. This time, we used several pre-recorded samples by ourselves and also two jam sessions by other artists, which we incorporated into our jam session and can be heard in the second half of this track:

We recorded the result of this jam session in Audacity, which was used in post-production to extract the best parts from that jam session in order to create this track. As always, only basic audio editing techniques like simple crossfades were used. Only a touch of soft limiting was applied, no elaborate approaches like mastering were used whatsoever. Thus, the result is raw and highly dynamic in nature, so put on your favourite headphones and turn up that volume knob, because the Loudness War is for losers!

"Jörg S. born in Cologne, from youth on, is fascinated by all kinds of art, so he taught himself the saxophone very early. Nowadays flutes of all kind are also part of the equipment, as are jaw harps, percussion, bass, guitars and keyboards.
He was and is always involved in many band projects and session events.
In the 80s he was a saxophonist in the Adam Noidlt Intermission Orchestra with gigs in Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf and Basel. Very early on he also worked as a writer with live readings in the Cologne area and was a painter with large formats for many years, all in addition to his job as a graphic designer. Now, retired, he is devoted solely to music: home recording with the platform of choice, Soundcloud and global collaborations."
