Andrew Kevin Newton (AKN) is a singer-songwriter from Kingston upon Hull, UK. His love for music began at nine years old when he first heard Wouldn’t It Be Good by Nik Kershaw — a spark that never went out and still drives everything he creates.

AKN’s sound blends the sophistication of Nik Kershaw, the emotion and ambition of Tears For Fears, the alternative edge of Mansun, the grit of Oasis, and the raw honesty of Third Eye Blind. The result is music that feels timeless, personal, and unfiltered — songs that connect with anyone who’s lived through love, loss, and survival.

In 2008, Andrew wrote All the Stars for Gemma, a deeply personal album shaped by heartbreak, resilience, and memory. Too raw to release at the time, it became a private time capsule. Seventeen years later, in 2025, the album finally saw the light of day — proof that music born from the heart has no expiry date.

Through AKN Records, Andrew continues to create on his own terms. He doesn’t chase charts, followers, or fame; he writes to leave behind a footprint, a legacy, and a reminder that real music still matters. Every song is a piece of himself: unapologetic, emotional, and built to last.

Jay Lamar & Jesse Oliver, a Dj / production duo from Helsinki, Finland.
Both guys have a history in playing and producing Pop and Rock music as well as DJing, so when they met at music production school they ended up at the studio together. After doing remixes for different acts (such as HIM), it was time to release their first EP, "Diamonda" on Lisbon based Discotexas records.  It was well received and ended up on the nr 5 spot on Beatport's top releases. Remixes for the likes of Justin Faust, A.N.D.Y & Vicente, The Supermen Lovers and Viceroy followed soon after.
"U gave me love" was the next single for the duo and it was released on the New York based Nurvous Records. 
"Ready to Go" Ep came out soon after on the Milan based La Valigetta records. 
In addition to producing and remixing the guys are also doing mastering work for others (Discotexas, Nurvous, Gomma etc).
Jay & Jesse also host a bi-weekly Radio Show called Starboard with Lenno, Bright Shades, Koobra and Hemo Dj' on Basso-radio FM 102.8 Mhz. www.basso.fi.
