JOHN G. is a soulful Caribbean artist from Trinidad and Tobago who blends the Reggae Revival, Roots Reggae and Folk styles to create “Caribbean Roots” music. With 16 years in the industry, from Soca to solo artistry, his lyrical content spans love, resilience, and cultural richness. His debut EP, ‘AGYEI,’ is a testament to his journey.

With nearly 2000 years of collective experience at the coalface of the music industry, the people behind Tangential Music nearly know what they are doing in this relentlessly changing business. Working without sleep or sustenance from their lighthouse office on Paradise Island, the label has released an expansive selection of artists and genres that encapsulates the broad but tasteful appetites of the crew involved. Heartbreaking Ambient soundscapes, Block Party Hip Hop/Funk breaks, Liquid Drum & Bass, Deep House experiments, classy Portuguese contemporary grooves with Mozambican flavours, LoFi beats, spooky electronic soul and much more.
