出生於比利是，現居柏林的DJ Gratts在過去二十年帶著無數唱片在歐洲遊走，近年更開始探索亞洲和澳洲。自九十年代末開啓了House、Techno和Disco的大門後，他便與其他知音人組織了We Play House，在2010年頭衝出家鄉。就如他所持有的信念，音樂無界線，不管在唱盤上是什麼唱片，最重要的是懷著開明和自由的心去聆聽。

擁有大量的groovy-heavy和跳舞音樂，他足夠與Steffi、DJ Sprinkles、Hunee、András Fox等等DJ同台。熱衷於製作的他，曾與Eluize組成Ca$hminus及與Kong共同營運廠牌。

過去數年他曾在各大歐洲音樂節演出，包括Tomorrowland、Nuits Sonores、8Bahn、Cartel及Listen!。也曾到Corsica Studios、Griessmuehle、Kompass Klub、Fuse Club、OOST、Het Magazijn、The Observatory (胡志明市)、Tag(成都)等等夜店演出。2019年標誌著他成為DJ的第二十年，而然他早已經以作家身份發表有關電子音樂和文化的文章。

Belgium born, Berlin based DJ Gratts has spent the best part of two decades lugging bags of excellent records around Europe, and latterly Asia and Australia with increasing frequency. First biting the bug for good-time house, techno and disco in the late 90s, he honed his craft as part of the We Play House gang throughout the following decade, and began pushing out of his homeland around the 10s. In keeping the heart of the music in mind, Gratts ensures the feet are always engaged. Genres aren’t important, though: no matter what’s spinning, it’s all about the uplift, the heart and the freedom.

His deep knowledge of groove-heavy, dancefloor-ready music affords him versatility - he’s as comfortable playing alongside Steffi or DJ Sprinkles as Hunee or András Fox. As well as an able selector, he’s a keen curator-collaborator: he produces music with Eluize as Ca$hminus and runs the ensemble label with Kong.

Throughout the years, he has played on some of Europe's premiere festivals such as Tomorrowland, Nuits Sonores, 8Bahn, Cartel and Listen! Festival as well as shows in prominent clubs like Corsica Studios, Griessmuehle, Kompass Klub, Fuse Club, OOST, Het Magazijn, The Observatory (HCMC), Tag (Chengdu) and plenty more. In 2019, he'll celebrate 20 years behind the decks. As a writer, Gratts has published several articles about electronic music culture throughout the years.

The very last BATB at the Styx was one to remember, with possibly the most intense psychedelic vibes of the year.

This closing set went from breaks to ethnic pop to the Buzzcocks to some afro disco jams to some Turkish psych to a 70s West coast latin rock anthem to Rude Movements to...that devil's hand landing on the last record (the Balek Band) 30 seconds before its ending...Lots of booing ensued followed by the biggest cheer ever...Chant down Babylon!

When my heart met "Elias" (Aparde)one of the most powerful loves of my life he introduced me to "Agatha" (David August) it was such an "Disambigua" (DJuma Soundsystem) as we stood in front of "The Gates of Babylon" (Davi) Should we got through? Agatha asked: "What's a girl to do" (Fatima Yamaha)There was an "Unsolide Armonie 3" (Andy Bros) with "ton Chauffeur" (Pupkulies & Rebecca) But we had to go, the beach was waiting. 
Elias und ich kamen endlich an diesen "Strand" (Stephan Bodzin) an und mir wurde  bewusst dass in unserer "Sommerliebe" (Solee) der Herbst bald eintrat. Auf der Suche nach den Schlüssel zu den Feldern "La clé des champs" (N'to), um diesen Ende zu entfliehen, entfernte sich unser Catamaran (Stephan Bodzin) vom Ufer und ich stellte fest, Elias war nicht mehr drauf.
Que "Dolores" (Township Rebellion) ocasioné por irme sin despedirme bien. Me dijo:   <"Sofia" (Metodi Hristov) lograste romper mi corazón en mil pedazos... >.  El echo des sus palabras me llevaron al insomnio y así fue como comenzó mi vida "nocturne" (Worakls).  En su dolor construyó murallas aislándose del amor. 
In his loneliness I tried to tell him that "Every Wall is a Door" (N’to)to a new dimension and if we find it we could enjoy again the "Morgenrotsonate" (Solee)mientras el "Sol" (Julian Wassermann)vuelve a nacer y now alumina el espectro  "Spectrum" (Rauschhaus)de nuestro amor. 
But till we find that door we meet in our dreams and live our "Midnight Love" (Andy Bros)Hoping it doesn't take a Millenium (Joachim Pastor) to find the gates to a World where we can be together again.

R&S presents a killer 12″ from Instanbul duo Bärtaub – composed of Mutlu San & Batu Guler.

The duo count heavyweights like Ricardo Villalobos and [a:rpia:r] as fans as well as R&S’s own Renaat Vandepapeliere for whom the duo contributed a track for Vandepapeliere’s RVTrax imprint.

Crafting roughly hewn grooves from analogue synths and drum machines, the duo conjure up stripped back machine funk blending intricate rhythms and sublime textures of into an intoxicating dancefloor confection.

As well as their globe trotting DJ exploits, San & Guler are primarily stalwarts of their local electronic music community, leaving an indelible mark on the Istanbul music scene over the years, whether kickstarting the legendary Indigo Club in 2004 with longtime associate Onur Özer, creating soundtracks for movies or innovative sound design all from their Circuit Room studio their influence is undeniable and far reaching.
