I used to drink Chinese tea 
I had a beautiful teapot and a beautiful cup
My bowl was of hand carved wood
Presented to me by a loving man
My bamboo chop sticks my own
With a bedroll and my monastic comforts
I roamed from place to place
Now it's called Social Networking
And we can roam the waves
Connecting in an instant
To souls on the other side
We can project our best selves
And believe in their best selves
But sometimes I miss the warmth
Of real bodies and real buddies
And I have weathered many storms
I no longer possess the beautiful teapot
I am left with the flotsam and jetsam
Of many years of being tossed 
In the storm
And it is more than enough
With which to fashion a life of Intent

LIFE......Is a Storm

This one cropped up last year, when there was much media coverage of the plight of refugees, and unbelievably, some who lacked compassion ...... I find it hard to understand - 

ONE OF A KIND

You hold the keys to
PANDORA'S BOX
Within which I placed my soul
So long ago.....
Your courage and your compassion lead you on
Your pain and self-doubt have you hobbled
You are trapped in a centrifuge of time
I am helpless 
You are the only one who can  release that energy
The box will open
All hell will let loose
We will discover we have wings
With which to fly
Across that ocean
And meet face to face
Heart to Heart

We vow to Live forever

Life just fades away

We strive for Acceptance

We toil for Abundance

What is the Cost?
- When your Spirit gets soured
And All Hope is Lost?

Maybe do some Good
And sow some seeds

Thoughts are crowding my head
Like Dragon Eggs
Cracking open
as I mentally caress each one
Revealing an exotic creature
-a symbol of a future path
- a future meeting
- a future destination 
How can I sleep
with such a magical visitation?

Mass Extinction
Industrialisation is
an overwhelm
Now is the Time
To consider what we Need
as opposed to what we Desire
To think creatively
To create thoughtfully 
To return to Ourselves
To return our support
To our Planet
NOW is the Time

flesh stripped to the bone
Bleeding, reality wrenched
from the heart of the home 
Battered and Bruised
and mortally tired
Feeling hung up strung out
bitterly marred

Made Of Stone

I am not a musician but music plays a very important role in my creative life! I am an artist/designer and music is my companion and my muse in the long hours I spend working in my studio! 
I am immensely impressed and grateful for all the talented and inspiring musicians whose work graces this Cloud, and I will always re-post sounds that I love (and will listen to again) - knowing that others will enjoy them!
I feel slightly embarrassed and quite humbled when I receive such graceful messages of thanks from artists whose work I have re-posted - after-all, I am the one who is so inspired by the discovery of your brilliant music!!!

Since my heart op in Jan2021, I have had to deal with taking quite a lot of meds which have interrupted my design work - that and moving to Germany in 2020 - and back in 2021 (due to Covid my business plans stalled!) - SO, slowly getting it together…. hang tight!😊
