Humans seem to think they need to 'tame' nature, that it needs to be controlled,  and things like trees, insects, wildlife, animals are ranked on their 'usefulness' to humans, but they should not have to have a reason or purpose to exist- they should just live and be because why should their existence be measured to suit humans?
Be the person who sees all life as important, all the way from the grass you walk on, to the insects that we can't live without, to what you are eating, and the journey of how it got there.
Please think twice about what chemicals you put on your lawn just to rid so- called 'weeds', which happen to be so so beautiful if you can alter your way of thinking. My happeist times are sitting in my garden watching buzzing bees and insects flying round, I don't need to interfere in their homes, I want them to thrive. 
Most people continue doing what they do, because they've always done it. but it's a really good idea to educate yourself about the environment, its good to change your mind and see things differently, just because everyone is doing it, doesn't mean they are right.

I truly hope you will enjoy the mix of dark electronic music and uplifting vibes. With this music I continue to explore dark realms (musically and personally) while holding space for positivity and invigorating energy. “My Own Crazy” is a trip down the road to my inner self, while reflecting upon how to stand my ground as a compassionate and emotional individual in our confusing world of material and superficial success. It sure seems there's always malice in the palace. Either you’re in the palace causing malice or you’re trying to stop the malice. In both cases there's still malice in the palace. As subjects, we have to live with that malice, so get out and vote. And if voting doesn’t make a difference, get out there and storm the palace, but only for a cause I believe in, lol. 

I love roots reggae and am stuck in the period between '68 and '82. Don’t get me wrong, ska is great, and I lump rocksteady into my preferred period of reggae. And I am not saying I don’t appreciate later periods of reggae and dancehall. I did enjoy the 90s dancehall that often went along with golden era hip hop. But I will always like 70s roots reggae best. I must be old. 

Thanks SoundCloud friends for making roots reggae with me and helping me LARP my musical fantasies. You're all the best! May everyone live out their rock star dreams.

I have a lot of faith that people can be strong enough to recognize where they have done (or are doing) harm and make sincere amends. I also believe that people have the power to heal and forgive wrong doings. It takes great strength to walk together through the fire of our pains and come out the other end holding hands, recognizing and honoring our differences while acknowledging and celebrating our similarities.  

May everyone get a chance to break bread together, enjoy some wine, and share some laughs. 

Thanks again to Calebass, Jon, and Janine for joining me together on a 3rd track. We make a great team! It was really fantastic to have Chris O and Belial Pelegrim finally join a track on my page. Chris O and Belial are two SoundCloud legends in my opinion. I am so grateful to be making music with all my favorite people. If only I had more time to make music with all of my favorites on the cloud. Who knows, maybe I do!

As 2020 comes to close we are taking stock of life as it compares to a year ago. Nothing was as it seemed then, and likely nothing is now either. We are all deep inside a massive collective psychedelic journey. Good trip bad trip, all our paths overlap. 

On our new album, out now, we explore the idea that we are at the crux of a significant leg of this journey.  Like that moment in most every trip when you are faced with a fear or anxiety and must make a decision on how to proceed, the crux presents both crisis and opportunity.

The featured track here, "Common Ground” is about finding a place for us all to meet in these divisive times in hopes that we can unify and find a path forward.

Cooperation, communication and dialogue are key to unity and resilience.

On the Crux album we are taking musical chances. Some of the most personal songs we’ve written mixed with raw sketched out ideas, to full blown improvised compositions. This is our way of processing the radical changes that have become routine for all of us. This album represents our subconscious hopes and fears for the time ahead. Affair of the heart....  (a report from the Front) 

Four dragons lifted me and took me to a place amongst the ancient gods
I lay there naked and vulnerable
my heart ready for the onslaught that
would give me new Life
Tubes inserted into wrists, neck and groin - I resemble a Cyborg rather than a living Deity
But the power of my tribe, sending their love and healing and best intentions, (especially my Vigil-keeper and fire watcher), maintained a loving and protective shield around me, until after three incredibly long hours that seemed to last forever (I was aware of the whole debacle) - it ended and the four dragons gently delivered me to the young priestesses who cleansed and refreshed my body, whilst I reclaimed my Soul..... (and heart beat)!

Affair of the Heart.... (a report from The Front!)

I am not a musician but music plays a very important role in my creative life! I am an artist/designer and music is my companion and my muse in the long hours I spend working in my studio! 
I am immensely impressed and grateful for all the talented and inspiring musicians whose work graces this Cloud, and I will always re-post sounds that I love (and will listen to again) - knowing that others will enjoy them!
