Sonic Visions I been cultivating down in  the basement mixing up a cornucopia  (cocktail mix)of Rock NRoll, Filmic Cine~delica soundtracks,Murder/Crime Ballads, Dirty Heavy Rock 'n'Roll..the very wide sonic umbrella of Rock 'n; Roll Music really of all kinds etc ..after the break up of my old Band Thee Hypnotics in 1998 Rough n Ready .Demos etc.I must add that, the vox that is there, & most other tracks, put down , are 1 take wonders! just done as it happened,on the spot!!and then decorated over only the 4 tracks.so just made up lyrics as went along, yet to be done properly.just to get phrasing,melodies etc,hence repetition of the same mumbled lines!!etc (just so ya know!!)& no mix edits etc just faders up flatish!! yeah some a pussy hair too long!but shit happens two thirds thru sometimes (you should hear the real length of some of them (Whole side of a C90, occasionally!)(Hope.It Will Grow On ya?!!tho over time an all that!) & of course eventually aiming to hopefully , put out an 'official' release of an album or 3! Box Sets!! with this Ray Hanson's Sonic Whores Of Babylon project,alot more succinct  rather than bursts of spontanousness 'chuck it down 'ness!) .chosen carefully from these random 70 odd tunes/ideas and the other tunes at home ..of course .properly vocalized, Arranged ,& organazized etc But until then , with the limitations of  only 4 tracks , that i had at my disposal , hope ya enjoy a taster of my home demos to give you , an idea , of the ideas! continuing on from my eclectic writing in Thee Hypnotics, maybe even more so.now possibly a chance to get a sense of whats been going on over here! and i guess, its Free Rock 'n Roll for now!!Anyway hope ya Dig it! Glasgow indie-punk band Heavy Rapids self-release their debut EP ‘Cash In Hand’. It’s a flurry of riffs and impassioned proclamations on everyday routines and situations, as well as social predicaments particular to their hometown, and the UK in general. 

The previously-unreleased ‘Hurricane E’ is about escaping your week day problems at the weekend with the people you love. The collection also includes the rip-roaring ‘Infected Nightmares (Frankenstein)’, which has seen significant support from BBC Radio 1, including love as Tune of The Week on The Indie Show, and the bracing ‘Going Down’. Latest single ‘Paisley Pattern’ is about the vicious cycle of violence and crime in the town the band have grown up in. As guitarist Jamie Crawford says, “it’s a working class town with a lot of great history but in the last 40 years it has seen its decline into a notorious crime hot spot. Over the years it's had the highest murder rate in the country and although the town doesn't look to be getting any better, it's home to most of the best people I've met in my life.”

Kris Dollimore has played with many international bands and artists including The Godfathers, The Damned, Dee Dee Ramone and Johnny Thunders. He’s also a member of Del Amitri. As a solo artist Kris has toured the length and breadth of the UK & Europe and has released three critically acclaimed solo albums to date. He released his widely anticipated fourth album All Grown Up on 01 June 2015.

Kris’s guitar skills have always been admired in whichever genre he has played. Now those skills are honed to perfection and they need to be, he has chosen a field where his playing is at its most exposed. A man, a guitar and a voice. No room for error and nowhere to hide. With a largely acoustic repertoire, precision playing is expected and delivered by Dollimore, earning him a hard core following of loyal fans and admirers.
