Recently I have had the urge to pick up my guitars (Taylor 114ce and Fender Squire) and I have been trying to use more guitar in my songs.  
My go to .vst plug ins are  EZkeys 2, EZ Bass and  EZ drummer 3) and my DAW is Logic Pro 11. 
I welcome your comments and enjoy listening to all the great music on SoundCloud.

Bio
In 2007 at age 63 Montrealer Peter Wheeler bought his first guitar. He then went to amazon.com and purchased a book called “How To Play The Guitar for Dummies”. Since then he hasn’t looked back. 

Sometimes serious - sometimes humorous Wheeler’s music seeks to re-capture the Classic Vibes  from the 70’s & 80’s. To best describe his music imagine Bob Dylan & The Doors meet The Clash & Leonard Cohen at the Hotel California & share a bottle of wine with Tarantino. Peter Wheeler is a poet - focusing all his energies into creating musical canvases to express his personal vision of the world surrounding him. 

For several years Peter was part of the local bar scene in the Greater Montreal area.  He performed as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for The Rock Roulette Band. His experiences giving live performances and continually improving his guitar playing has truly shown that you can teach an old dog new tricks.

In 2020 Peter teamed up with Johnny Vienneau, a multi- talented musician and Producer from Montreal and recorded his first album of cover songs called "Self Portrait".  https://soundcloud.com/peter-wheeler/sets/self-portrait-1

Today Peter continues to pursue his passion for The Arts by doing portraits of friends, family and people he greatly admires. In 2021 he became a re-born again environmentalist and his songwriting is now focused on increasing awareness of the climatic challenge facing the planet.

Self confessed Music Addict ! I write and play/vocalise everything myself whether it be real or synthetic . Recently teamed up with Charlotte Thornton , and together we are Charlie and the Fox , it's the best thing I have ever done musically . Char has an outstanding voice , writes amazing lyrics and comes up with melodies I would never have dreamed of , it's a partnership that works so well , and long may it continue ! Like all here, I’m just trying to leave an echo !   Just trying to say I was here. How lucky are we to live in an age when that is possible?

Also, I’ve been jamming with Jarod, Tek, Gary and Shelbie on Sundays in a little white house out past Stilesville. We record under the name “makebelieve”. Hope to post some jams every now and then .

Since October 2023, Sunday jams with Gman and Reggie.  We record under name of:   “the charlatans”.  Or lately, the Sunday Jam.
