Romanian techno wizard EdiP is at it again! With his debut on Ilario Alicante's Sound D’Elite, 'Lock Y Phone' drops us square into a chunky groove-fest. The EP lands on 19th September 2025, ready to shake the foundations of any underground rave.

EdiP’s not new to the scene. Coming out of Bucharest, he’s already been turning heads as one of Beatport's Top 10 Minimal Artists of 2024. With support from techno titans like Marco Carola and Jamie Jones, EdiP’s making serious waves. His journey from minimal grooves to a festival-ready sound continues to evolve, and 'Lock Y Phone' is the next chapter.

The title track 'Lock Y Phone' is packed with tightly wound percussion, warped vocal chops, and a rolling bassline that’s got more bump than a taxi on cobbles. It’s a glitched-out, hypnotic banger that rattles the warehouse walls and gets the reload every time. Flip to 'I Know U', and you’ve got a groove-led trip through bouncing drums and late-night vibes, perfect for those East Berlin sweatboxes.

Ilario Alicante’s Sound D’Elite welcomes Spanish talent Fer BR for his latest club-ready outing, ‘Never Sax Enough ’, arriving on 3rd October – a powerful three-track package that blends his signature futuristic sonics with undeniable floor-filling energy. An established name within Europe’s tech-house and techno landscape, Fer BR continues to impress with standout releases on respected imprints such as MÜSE, Deeperfect, Rawthentic, and COCO. His work as A&R for Paco Osuna’s Mindshake and collaborations under Project00 have cemented him as one of Spain’s most creative exports, and here he showcases his talent once more - backed by a standout remix from UK favourite Iglesias, following releases on Solid Grooves, Hottrax, COCO,
Mindshake and more. 

The title track ‘Never Sax Enough’ is a brooding, groove-driven workout layered with a snaking, sultry sax motif and crisp, punchy backbeat. Iglesias takes things deeper with a pumping rework, fusing a bumping bassline and crisp, bleeping synths into a peak-time weapon - most recently sparking a viral moment during Ilario Alicante’s b2b with Marco Carola at Music On. ‘Control Freak’ ups the ante, taking a more hypnotic turn with driving percussive rhythm and sharp, gritty textures, fusing reverb-heavy vocals and cosmic keys to deliver a cut that commands maximum intensity late into the night.
