Synaesthesia. This refers to music that excites the Imaginination visually or in other sensory modes 
Whilst in music the primary response to the sound is aural, non-auditory sensations can occur owing to a sort of metaphorical excitement of sensations other than the purely aural, for example visual qualities or qualities associiated more with the sensation of touch (e.g soft, velvety, vibrant, harsh 'blending' of sound) so combining to give complex multi sensations ranging across all the senses. The music in this playlist excites such responses in the composers experience and so he hopes and believes it will do so in others'

The Shining - Entheogenic Psychonaut (Josh Clary) with Computart (Phil Chris)

A fairly uninhibited venture into traditional tonal Melodic-Harmonic territory in which the object of the exercise was to please the senses with completely recognisable tonal stimuli, this track is a reworking of f,,,Mmm,m,mmmm a piece I composed originally in 2019. In the current revision I could not resist the impulse to make several 'daring' modulations which may place more of a burden on the listener than was my original intention
I made use in this case of the eMastered online mastering service.

This is a fairly complete revision of the original upload of August 2022. It is a jubilant piece that needs to be taken in its own  terms. The musical vocabulary in this piece is very conservartive and it obeys conventional structural norms.

Adagio for Our Times (Remix VIII 3 December 2023)

This is a variation of a sort on a musical fragment which appears in the theme music for the TV series 'All Creatures great and Small' and also in the first movement of my Tripartite Fantasy and is constructed as a free flowing set of improvisations on a simple basic idea This simple idea is treated in a linear polyphonic way resulting in a texture which moves between consonant and dissonant harmony ending on a C major chord.
This is an updated revision of the original track using different samples.
