"It's all framed in by samples of Georges Perec and Bernard Queysanne's film:
"Un Homme Qui Dort" from 1974 
which to seems fit our current situation pretty well."

Connecting for such a special moment, the artwork comes from a collab between collage geniuses Ventral is Golden and Dima Rabik. Their visual work is enchanting and them working together for this is just heartwarming.

Oh the lethargy!

But then your telephone starts ringing and quite accurately in the moment you take the receiver off the hook it dawns on you: this isn’t your sitting room, or even your house. It is not even your era.
On the other end of the line a soft voice is soothing your initial shock with the words: 

“Don’t worry. You drifted off and that’s fine. 
Have a drink, take a rest. Tomorrow will be your day.”

You’re in luck! Elizen The Emperor has everything under control for now.
But at some point you really have to get off your couch. 
Your plants must be thirsty...

As the cold approaches, I head east to the vast and ancient lands of Mongolia. Over the rugged expanses, mountains and through its capital Ulaanbaatar. 
Learning about Mongolian culture was deeply fascinating and leaves me with a yearning curiosity to discover more of the history of Mongolia.

I decided to focus on the traditional side of sound.
My selection aims to showcase the rich tradition of throat singing (höömji), long song, court music, and Mongolian pop.
