!RARE! VOX UL730 hybrid amp (1966) serviced + original 2x12 cabinet w/ Celestion T1088 Pulsonic cones

Selling this VERY RARE and MYTHICAL hybrid amp VOX UL730 made in 1966, same as used by the Beatles (Revolver & Sergent Pepper), Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin I) in the studio Rolling Stones (live 1967).
Only 103 had been manufactured, and 25 still existing as most of them had been dismantled because of its poor success.

This amp has been SERVICED by a pro of tube amps (PMS ELECTRIQUE) and RESTORED as close as possible to its original circuit and condition keeping as much as possible original parts.
It looks like this amp has had a busy life, and physical condition isn’t mint for sure, but I have preferred to keep the original grill cloth and tolex. I had to buy missing parts to restore it like original knobs, handles, footswitch etc.
Tubes are not new but have been tested and they don’t need to be changed before some time.
I did purchase the amp with a the original cabinet which didn’t have the right speakers, so I have sourced Celestion T1088 ‘grey bell’ alnico speakers with original Pulsonic cones from 1965 and 1972 to pair with it. Vox sticker on the speakers have been replaced (sourced from North Coast Music).
The 3 button footswitch is a reproduction made by NCM from the original moulded form made Vox in the 60’s.

The amp sounds like a charm ! Very typical sound, clean (ultra linear power transformer), tight, focused, different from an AC30 and any other amp made by Vox.
It doesn’t have a ton of gain, not like an AC30 top boost, but its crunch bites like an old 	angry dog !
You can use the fuzz circuit for leads (it works better with low output pickups). Fuzz is the one used by George Harrison on “She said”.
You can also activate the choppy tremolo thanks to the footswitch.
The Reverb doesn’t work unfortunately. It has worked when I got the amp, but was very weak, and it looks like one phono cartridge inside might need a very small welding, but I have preferred to leave it as is, as repair is very meticulous.
