Sampler Café Podcast - Episode #1

This is the first episode of the Sampler Café Podcast and it features music produced and performed live at the Sampler Café 3 Year Anniversary Jam. 

For those unfamiliar with Sampler Café, we are a community-based collective of musicians, beatmakers and producers. Sampler Café currently focuses on hosting open electronic music jam sessions in a variety of formats and in many cities across Canada. We are expanding our platform to include music education programming, a more robust framework of jam sessions across the globe, artist development and performance initiatives and much more. 

This is the first of many podcast episodes which will include interviews, unreleased and exclusive music content, discussions around gear/production techniques, sample challenges and more as we move forward.

-How long have you been creating music together?
This is honestly the first time we have collaborated. I met Case of the Mondays (COTM) while they were playing in Vancouver and asked them if they wanted to work on a track together… it didn’t even seem like they thought about it when they instantly said… of course , NEXT QUESTION!

-What do you use to make your tracks?
Branzei is a Ableton Rat, COTM are Logic Monkeys

-How and when did you first discover Dirtybird?
When we started liking good music 


-Which Dirtybird artist would you want to collaborate with the most?

-If your entire life was a movie, what title would best describe you?
We are now the Three Musketeers!

The Flip Phone Era… duh!

Mighty Ducks because of the Flying V formation…
