I was thinking about temporary reality vs. eternity …thinking about judgement vs. forgiveness… thinking about right and wrong, thinking about being born again vs, being dead to the things of God … thinking about what awaits us all! … thinking about toeing the line in the status quo,vs. trusting and living in a liberated fashion! It’s the Good news in a concise lyric.. Jesus Christ, savior.., Jesus Christ, Lord!!.., one must understand the @ bad news, before they can grasp the @ good news! … feel free to disagree… I am not the best @ follower, but I do follow!!! Acts 4:12 states it bluntly, but eloquently!!!  I have no @ sympathy for the devil!🙏🙏🙏 Romans 9 is also a good one!!!

Hope you enjoy this bit of Christmas. I don't know how it will make you feel, as it is not a traditional arrangement. I just performed the song how I felt. Maybe it will find a place in your heart. There's a lot of artifice in the emotions of Christmas which I wanted to cut through. Minimalism seemed the key, and an improvised guitar on top of the vocal was all I felt it needed to be true to the feeling of the song and the sentiment of the season. I truly wish everyone a merry Christmas, even those who do not recognize the holiday, because I feel that the heart of the season lies in good will and peace and rest and reflection for people all over. Not in any particular religious belief. So, again, have a merry Christmas, and please have a wonderful, productive new year :)
