This song began with Stephen and his friend and bandmate, Quanah Stewart who also sings this version, and who wrote the lyrics. They were in a band together for about 7 years in the early 2000s. When the band broke up, they went many years without playing together. Until, in 2018 Stephen started his TexMex shaman project and this was one of the first songs he wrote.  Quanah had moved to Austin in the meantime but on a visit back to Dallas, Stephen asked him to come over and add the vocal track you hear on the song.  
 
Fast toward to 2024 and Stephen wanted to remix this along with a few other older tunes. He asked his good friends and teammates Ken and Josh if they’d like to help, and of course, they were super enthusiastic.  This is what he had to say about the finished product. "Their parts blew me away.  Beyond what I expected and it made it a whole new song.  Very grateful to them both for their time and talent." As are Ken and Josh very grateful to Stephen for sharing his awesome rocker with us.  

The title comes from trying to think of the stupidest song title Stephen could come up with, on a bet. And it’s close. 
  Of course, Stephen did the honors of mixing and producing it. Ken and Josh had a lot of fun brining this song back to life with him, whose creativity and skill are unparalleled. We all hope you (and Quanah) enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed creating

We are a collective of about a dozen musicians, who get together weekly to play through the cannon of stoner music. We use mostly acoustic instruments, and have roots sensibilities. We have some really spectacular musicians at many positions. These recordings are single source live. This page is primarily to give the people playing a way to listen to themselves, although, we hope you enjoy it as well.

Redlined are a female-fronted punk band founded in 2024 by Makayla (vocals) and Chris (guitars, production). Creating music remotely, they focus on streaming releases, not doing in person rehearsals or live performances. Their sound blends elements of old-school punk, grunge, and modern post-punk. After their debut single “Not Just Gay,” they quickly followed up with "Sex Tape", featuring new drummer Mat. Redlined enjoy exploring various styles within punk and grunge, prioritizing the fun of creativity over commercial success.

New album Audio/Visual is now available exclusively on SC and BandCamp, featuring my favorite tracks from 2024-25. Releases to Spotify and other platforms on September 30th!

My genre influences include electronic, downtempo, lofi, experimental, rock, blues, indie, prog, post rock, ambient, synthwave, trip hop, and hip hop. 

My recent tunes are produced using Ableton Live, FabFilter suite plugins, and often feature synths like Pigments, Microfreak, and Minilogue XD. I'm also beginning to incorporate guitar a lot more!

Welcome to Gaz Brownie music projects.
Gaz Brownie music projects is a collection of collaborative work from more recent projects to the bands I have played in over the years.
Been singing since the age of 15 in bands and various music projects.
I play guitar on my solo stuff but really only as a vehicle to write songs and finds cords for vocal melodies, and also a little keyboards. 
To date I have recorded and wrote/ co wrote over 200 songs in a professional studio environment, working with established producers . Played endless live gigs with numerous bands and projects.
I have had music published, appeared on TV/radio, Music videos, released albums, Eps and singles, on several different labels. 
Style preference is a indie pop/rock vibe focusing on interesting lyrics, vocal melodies and catchy chorus lines.
