I've been wanting to make a synthwave track for a long time. but I could never really figure out how.  I decided to take inspiration from a song I made a long time ago in Music Maker JAM. Heartworn Highways is many things, it is a legendary music documentary but it's also the name of the blog runned by Stian Finstad Svehagen for the last thirteen years or so. The blog has been a on again off again venture which has made a comeback the last year with help from fellow cratedigger and head, David Jønsson. Together they have spun records as Innlandet Hestejazz Society around town in Oslo, Norway. Rural country-rock with a fair share of headiness and pedal steel is a recurring theme. As it also is on this mix Stian has pulled together for Radio L'envie. They also do weekly mixes on the blog called Moonshine Blends".
